Enough of this madness. Reading the news is becoming hair pulling stuff, isn't it? It feels like any reasonably competent twelve year old could run things in this world better than the psychopathic lot we have for leaders have been doing.

But that's it, isn't it? They're psychopaths and that's why every thing is turning to shit. None of them are the least bit concerned about the people they harm, injure and kill. War is an opportunity for Quislings to become statesmen. War is an opportunity for electorally spent politicians to get it up for one more election. And those that could have prevented the war and just stood by instead, can wring their hands with regret and utter their condolences on behalf of the disenfranchised to the families of the disembowelled.

The leaders of Russia, China, India and the Arab League could have prevented the attack on the Libyan people simply by saying, “No”. But they didn't. They regret the carnage but not their decisions it seems. Psychopaths. Gotta be. Either that or they are just too stupid to tie their own shoelaces. Either way, we can do without them. We need to do without them.

And who cares if a nuclear reactor goes incandescent? Who cares if a power station turns itself into the Roman Candle from Hell because they were too stupid to do something to prevent what everybody with half a brain in their head could see was inevitably coming? No, they'd rather lie and look like they know everything. We've got our kickbacks in our kitbags and we're jetting out of the area on the first plane while the paid conscienceless mouthpieces calm everyone down so they can all get irradiated and don't clog up the airport for us, thank you.

It's the psychopaths, isn't it? They're the ones that cause the problems for us all. They're the ones who site nuclear reactors over geological fault lines. Not just in Japan either. They do it all over the world. They're the ones who make unbelievably more dangerous nuclear fuel rods out of plutonium because it is more economic. Well, it's more economic if you lie about the quality control checks because you had to cut budgetary corners and then pass on the clean up costs after the inevitable disaster to the government. “Oh, did people die? I'm very sorry to hear that. That's very regrettable. But there were only a few and it was a million to one chance, anyway. More people will die driving to work this morning, you know.” That's their reality.

This article draws heavily on the work of Keith Harmon Snow. So here is the reality from him-

Of course, technology gurus and corporate executives and financial consultants are hysterical, claiming there were no deaths from Three Mile Island and that deaths at Chernobyl are exaggerated by the mass media. These claims are false. The new book, Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment provides irrefutable evidence of massive loss of life.

"The book is solidly based -- on health data, radiological surveys and scientific reports -- some 5,000 in all," says journalist Karl Grossman. "It concludes that based on records now available, some 985,000 people died, mainly of cancer, as a result of the Chernobyl accident. That is between when the accident occurred in 1986 and 2004. More deaths, it projects, will follow."

And, by the way, if adequate warnings had been given when the dangers were known, a whole bunch of people would have been spared death or injury. But we can't admit to how bad a fuckup we've made of things, now can we? No, there's no need to panic. We are on the way to getting things back under control. And this is what regaining control looks like at Fukushima reactor #3 –

While we're talking about Fukushima, here's Keith Harmon Snow's list of stupidities behind this disaster-

Nuclear stupidity No. 1: the Fukushima reactor buildings are square (not circular) and had to absorb the force of the tsunami wave straight on. Stupidity No. 2: six reactors clustered too close together. Stupidity No. 3: no shoreline protection against a tsunami. Stupidity No. 4: reactors sited on earthquake faults. Stupidity No. 5: assumptions and calculations proving that the reactor, prior to its construction, could withstand anything that nature threw at it. Stupidity No. 6: it didn't begin in Japan: the industry, with all its corruptions, false assumptions and technological hubris, was born in secrecy in the United States of America.

Stupidity No. 125: spent fuel pools are packed too tightly, as is well-established by industry documents, for economic reasons, discarding safety concerns. Stupidity No. 458: the Spent Fuel Pools at Fukushima are suspended up high inside the reactor buildings secondary containment -- the same buildings whose roofs are blowing off! Are we to believe that the massive explosions that were captured on film, and others that were not, did not damage these elevated time bombs?

Unbelievable, no? Storing years of spent and radioactive fuel rods above the reactor with no back-up containment. It was no doubt cheaper than doing storing them somewhere else in a properly designed, well, lets say a better designed storage facility. Sane societies do not need lunatics like this in their midst.

Keith Harmon Snow's article “NUCLEAR APOCALYPSE IN JAPAN” is extremely well researched and written. Though the subject matter is hair pulling stuff, I recommend you read it together with an update entitled “JAPAN: RADIATION 'SAFE', PRESS EVACUATES, INVESTORS SCARED”

While you are at it, you can read about all the warnings Greenpeace gave to the Fukushima District Court in 2000 in an attempt to stop the Fukushima #3 reactor using MOX (Plutonium) fuel. What they warned about has come about. But will those responsible be brought to account? Not bloody likely, even though the evidence is all there.

And Stuxnet. How could I forget that criminal piece of lunacy, Stuxnet. The worm that turned. It was designed by Israeli and US departments and overseen by these two clowns.

It wreaked havoc with the Iranian nuclear project (which it was designed for). Israel has boasted about it and MI6, through their mouthpiece the Telegraph, dobbed in those two rogue countries, Israel and the US, for us. See here . The problem with it now is that it has gone viral and is bound to mess up all sorts of industrial functions that use Siemens S 7 controllers. Wanna guess which controllers the Fukushima plant uses? Make that 'used'? Yes, indeed, patient reader, you guessed it. And 63 copies of it have been found on USB's in Japan. So it is highly likely that the worm developed by those insane people in Mossad and the NSA have now unleashed a horror on the Japanese people who are just trying to make a living and cope with earthquakes and tsunamis at the same time. And if the meltdown (or meltdowns) proves to be worse than Chernobyl (which it shows every sign of doing) then these criminally insane morons will be responsible for millions of deaths over the coming decades. Haven't the Japanese suffered enough gratuitous death from nuclear radioactivity already? (courtesy of the US government)

And which halfwit signed this Israeli firm up to run security at Fukushima? See here too It just goes on and on. Enough!

And what about all these earthquakes? What about these tsunamis? Are we to believe that the US Military/Industrial snake that has spent many millions (billions?) of taxpayers money researching how to modify the weather and cause tsunamis etc. will not use it? See Keith Harmon Snow again for all you never wanted to know about this perverse militarisation of nature. (Out of the Blue:
Black Programs, Space Drones, and the Unveiling of U.S. Military Offensives in Weather as a Weapon

How about that the tsunami that devastated a huge swath through Asia a few years ago? It was caused by an 'earthquake' which had its epicentre just offshore from Aceh in Indonesia and yet it couldn't knock over a building in that town. A convincing argument has been made that the facts fit better with a nuclear bomb being detonated in the undersea trench rather than a natural earthquake and I'm inclined to believe it.

But anyway, lucky for the Achens, the US Navy was all pre-prepared and in the neighbourhood to rush in and secure . . . sorry, help . . . just in case a building did decide to fall over later. The US military base at Diego Garcia had plenty of warning but not so the poor people of Thailand and elsewhere. The US military seems especially blessed in these matters.

And Haiti? Same deal. Except the buildings did fall over this time. But the US Navy was there again in a flash .. .. to help. Except they aren't much help at all because the people are still living in tents without water. But hey, we've found lots of oil. Isn't everybody happy? And all that donated money, too. Where's that gone? Maybe to run those dodgy field hospitals that all those kids disappeared into.

And Katrina? How we doin' down there in New Orleans after all this time and money and equipment and what-have-you? Still looked like shit the last time I looked. How about all those resourceful volunteers that were rescuing stranded people and were stopped from saving lives? And Brownie, . . . . . fuck you.

And all the time these disasters are going on, we are fed bullshit from morning till night. Blatant, in your face lies. Every talking head on the teevee is lying. They always have, haven't they? They wouldn't be an “expert” and get to go on teevee if they weren't prepared to mislead (i.e. lie to) the public. They simply wouldn't get a guernsey; they wouldn't get to play.

See here for some revelations about 'experts' and how they shape the public's understanding of 'science' and earthquake prediction in particular

But we know all this don't we? We know we are being lied to. We know 'they' do what ever they like and don't give a damn about what we think because we'll just keep trotting along grumbling to ourselves. But now we are starting to see that 'they' are causing many of these disasters in the first place and if they don't then they capitalise on them to make them ten times worse than they would have been otherwise. They dis-empower and victimise us at every step.

Well, no more. It's time to cry “ENOUGH”. It's time to tell the truth about what we know at every opportunity. It's time to confront every politician we come across with the fact that they dance to the tune of their electoral fund providers; that all their talk of democracy is total bullshit because they never vote the way people want them to; that they tow the party line (bank bailouts); that they don't even read the bills they vote for (Patriot Act). When they do surveys it is to see how little they can do to keep us happy and how to phrase their lies.

It's time to start asking the hard questions at the church functions and services. It's time to ask “Who would Jesus bomb?” And demand an answer. “And what does 'turn the other cheek' mean to you, Pastor? Non-violence, maybe?”

It's time to talk to our neighbours that are involved in the armaments industry. It's time to talk to his son to reconsider joining the military. Like, “Do you know that the sole purpose of the armed forces is to kill people?” And “Do you really want to spend the rest of your life dealing with the nightmares from doing that; killing people who never said so much as one nasty word to you?” “Thou shalt not kill”? “Do unto others......”? “Do you really think your God wants you to kill people?”

This is what 'blood lust' does to a "nation's finest". The victim was only a boy.

Check out A13's post for a righteous rant on war and the evil it spreads

And don't get me started on the mind numbing hypocrisy of a "no-fly zone" over Libya and the resulting carnage there. WHAT ABOUT GAZA???

It's time to talk to strangers. The media lie to us and keep us separate. But only so long as we oblige. We don't have to. We have the power to change things and there's nothing the Powers-That-Be can do about it. We turn off the teevee and we talk to each other. We start to connect with our humanity more rather that some teevee show all about toilet humour or some psychopath who misleadingly shows how 'righteous violence' works out. Play chess or poker with your friends. Teach you kids how to play. Good for the brain. Organise into ad hoc groups to do things even if it is only to clean up old Mrs Brown's back yard.

We need to get back our family and neighbourhood connections and start helping each other without going to some government or some municipal council or some 'authority' to organise it for us or to do it for us. We don't need them! We've had enough of them. Haven't we? Enough!

It's time to stop voting for these tag team political parties, too. They're stacked with psychopaths. They work for psychopaths. As if we didn't have enough trouble dealing with psychopaths in our workplaces, in our churches and sporting organisations without voluntarily voting them into power over us. That's just nuts! If you have to vote, vote independent.

Psychopaths have no empathy for others. They have no concern for our welfare. They are incapable of it. They can look and sound like they can and are but they're just lying. They've learnt how to do that by copying others. So, often they'll overdo it. They'll be too charming. There's a clue, folks. They actually have no conscience. They are the very last people we would want in power. And, yet, they are the very ones who pursue it.

It's time to learn about psychopathy and the danger it poses to humanity. It's a very real danger and when it comes down to it, the only real danger to humanity. It's time to talk to our neighbours about it and how to recognise it and how to deal with it. We've had enough of their destructive behaviour.

source Libya - March 2011

Depending on whose research you go by, psychopaths constitute between 4 and 6% of the population. So let's settle on 5%. That's one in twenty people. 90% of psychopaths are males. So that means near enough to one in ten men are psychopaths. That's worth thinking about for a moment.

If you take into account the fact that psychopaths are attracted to professions and careers that involve wielding power, you might reasonably say that perhaps one in five rather than one in ten people entering into the military, the police, medicine, psychology/psychiatry, law, religious ministries and, of course, politics are psychopathic.

These psychopaths are adept at climbing hierarchical organisations and they have the ability to recognise each other and will promote and network with each other to the cost of everyone else. So they become more prevalent the higher up the organisation you go. Do we want to be dependent on these organisations and the psychopaths that invariably run them any more? No. We've had enough.

We've had enough Katrinas: enough Haitis; enough Fukushimas; enough Hiroshimas; enough bloody wars; enough killing lies. We are now no longer sitting still in the face of this insanity. I will explain that psychopathy is our only real enemy to anyone who'll listen (and even those who won't!). And I for one will call bullshit every time I hear it from now on.

I've had enough.

No, No Keshagesh, You Can't Do That No More, No More....

Righteous rant James! And my thumbs up to Keith Harmon for his excellent and informative articles that you linked.

It is so hard not to be despairing as we witness the evil ones wreck their havoc. They leave nothing untouched in their insane and psychopathic drive for control. The oceans, the air, the flora, the fauna, the earth's crust, the atmosphere, the weather, the food supply, the health systems, the economy and humanity itself. You can pick almost any subject, anything you believe to be true, and if you investigate it you will invariably find the lies and distortions behind it. History, economics, the majority of the sciences, medicine, psychiatry, politics, the law and religion are but a few I can think of right now. So, thank you for pointing us back to ourselves and to our connection with each other because that is where our power lies. Evil of course knows this and that is why it works so hard to keep us separated.

"We need to get back our family and neighbourhood connections and start helping each other without going to some government or some municipal council or some 'authority' to organise it for us. We don't need them! We've had enough of them. Haven't we? Enough!"

Indeed we do and indeed we have!

I was going to use this video of Buffy Sainte Marie's song 'No, No Keshagesh' from her album 'Running For the Drum' for an open thread some time but I find it playing in my mind a lot these days and I play it in the car when I am driving and turn the volume up. It makes me feel better.
Keshagesh means "greedy guts" in Cree.

So, sing it out loud now...

"Mr. Greed I think your time has come.
We're gonna sing it and pray it and live it then say it.
Singing: No no Keshagesh:
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)"

Or better yet, get out your drums, turn up the volume and wake up the neighbours.

I never saw so many business suits.
Never knew a dollar sign could look so cute.
Never knew a junkie with a money Jones:
He's singing, "Who's selling Park Place. Who's buying Boardwalk"?
These old men they make their dirty deals.
Go in the back room and see what they can steal.
Talk about your beautiful fore spacious skies.
It's about uranium; it's about the water rights.
Put Mother Nature on a luncheon plate.
They carve her up and call it real estate.
Want all the resources and all of the land.
They make a war over it: Blow things up for it.
The reservation out at poverty row.
There's something cooking and the lights are low.
Somebody's trying to save our mother earth.
I'm gonna help them to save it,
To sing it and pray it
[ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/b/buffy_sainte_marie/no_no_keshagesh.html ]
Singing: No no Keshagesh:
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)

Ole Columbus he was looking good,
When he got lost in our neighborhood.
Garden of Eden right before his eyes.
Now it's all spy ware: now it's all income tax.
Ole' brother Midas looking hungry today.
What he can't buy he'll get some other way.
Send in the troopers if the natives resist.
Old, old story boys, that's how you do it boys.
Look at these people; ah they're on a roll.
Gonna have it all, gonna have complete control.
Want all the resources and all of the land.
They'll break the law for it: Blow things up for it.
When all our champions are off in the war,
Their final rip off here at home is on.
Mr. greed I think your time has come.
We're gonna sing it and pray it and live it then say it.

Singing: No no Keshagesh:
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)
No, no, no, no Keshagesh
You can't do that no more, (no more, no more no more)

Sounds like a great song,

Sounds like a great song, McJ. I've been hearing one myself. It's a Stephen Stills one (recorded with CSN&Y). I think it is called "Have you had enough yet" Must dig it up (if it is available on you tube) and post it here when I get a chance

the list is endless

Yes, the list is endless. I had to stop myself from going on. THough I'll put something in about stuxnet given it is so criminally irresponsible. But that's later. Gotta go smiling

McJ's picture

It is a great song..

It is a great song! Especially the way she breaks into the chorus. Once you know it, you will find yourself saying No, no Keshagesh you can't do that no more, no more, no more. Guarantee it!

I don't know that song from Stephen Stills and I thought I knew most all of his songs as he was a favorite of mine. It is strange to think of him now after reading Dave MacGowan's Laurel Canyon series. Look forward to hearing it.

Seen Enough

Look forward to hearing it. It's "Seen Enough" from the 1999 album "Looking Forward" haha, how's that!

Going through a couple of versions to pick the best. It's painful at my download speed!
How's about putting Bruce's Rocket Launcher up again here? Fabulous song!

Can Do

Can do! smiling And I agree it is a fabulous song!

this one!

Hi McJ. Could you put this one up for me. It'll take me forever to work it out? smiling

(Stephen Stills)
I lost my innocence over intolerance
All the indignities heaped on the black man
We went to church they all prayed for the white man
The cops and the preachers
Were most of 'em in the Klan
What's a kid s'posed to think when the adults
Are all such hypocrites impossibly smug

I have seen enough
I have seen enough of this
Had enough
Quite enough, I swear

The next generation, the woodstock nation
A little bit flaky, but no hesitation
Stop the war, it wasn't worth dyin' for
The paranoia of the cold warriors
Arrogant old men with domino theories
Fractured fairy tales tryin' to kill me

I have seen enough
I have seen enough of this
I have read enough
History to see right through this

You got outcast upset
People you never met
Locked in the basement
Hot-wired to the net
Isolated, infuriated
The punchline to the joke
Is how they are gonna smoke
Every last stuck-up snob ever dissed them
Look in their eyes how could you miss them

Ain't you seen enough
I have seen enough of this
I've had quite enough
Seen enough

We got dead-eyed, dead drunk
Dead stupid cyberpunks
Fed-up killer geeks
Gigabyte meth freaks
Home alone in a world of their own
Up all night in the thick of the fight
Fantasy combat, veteran psychos
Removed from reality by silicon diodes

Seen enough
I have seen enough of this
Have you read enough
So, you don't know nothin' about it

You got powerbook potentates
Pointedly obviate
Every opinion
They have about anything
Even if they don't know shit
Stay in the limelight
Got your own website
Got all the answers, ain't got a lick of sense
Practicing psychiatry without a license

Ain't you seen enough
Had enough of this
I have had enough
Ain't it bad enough for you yet

So you got overfed
Talking heads on television
Ignoring the obvious with pained expressions
Ask the ones that sell the damn guns
By the truckload every day
Fast as they can make 'em
What's a kid s'posed to think
When the adults
Refuse all accountability
When they fuck up

Ain't you seen enough
Ain't you had enough of this
Goddam tired enough
Have we done enough about this
I have seen enough

as we witness the evil ones wreck their havoc

"as we witness the evil ones wreck their havoc", fuck so much to read ,so much to assimilate ,so much to time needed to separate the "wheat from the chaff" .No wonder the "masses" don't have a clue.
Have you spoken with any of the "masses" ?
Do you "get" their level of "understanding" ?
Do you now see why we are in deep shit ?

Hi Mick

Have you spoken with any of the "masses" ?
Do you "get" their level of "understanding" ?
Do you now see why we are in deep shit ?

Yes I have and Yes I do. But I'm fired to talk to every one I get a chance to now. Not just this one or that one. Everyone I talk to is so pissed off now. If we all do it, how long do you think it will take to make an impact? How long does it take for things to go viral once a critical mass is reached? Not long, my friend smiling

I hear you Mick! "The masses" are fucking brain dead as far as I can tell and I truly hate to be that cynical. I think the proper term for that is cognitive dissonance.
It's seems the 'hundredth monkey' is never going to show up. However, I do remind myself that change is inevitable and that it can happen quickly and decisively. It's not going to be pretty tho....

If I Had A Rocket Launcher

Here come the helicopter -- second time today
Everybody scatters and hopes it goes away
How many kids they've murdered only God can say
If I had a rocket launcher...I'd make somebody pay.
I don't believe in guarded borders and I don't believe in hate
I don't believe in generals or their stinking torture states
And when I talk with the survivors of things too sickening to relate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would retaliate
On the Rio Lacantun one hundred thousand wait
To fall down from starvation -- or some less humane fate.
Cry for Guatemala, with a corpse in every gate
If I had a rocket launcher...I would not hesitate
I want to raise every voice -- at least I've got to try.
Every time I think about it water rises to my eyes.
Situation desperate echoes of the victims cry
If I had a rocket launcher...some sonofabitch would die

Penny's post

Fukushima: Core Meltdowns, nuclear lobbyists working overtime, non-existent US evacuation plans & Ann Coulter (crackpot)
Penny's post from this morning.

re Penny's

great post of Penny's. More incompetence and irresponsibility. The lobbyists are working hard because they know there is a serious threat to their business now. I find that somewhat encouraging while contemplating the future of this nightmare.

Thanks for the heads up, McJ.

I've added some more material to my post including links to your great work on Stuxnet smiling

McJ's picture

Thanks and the 'extras' are quality. smiling

I had the same thought about the lobbyists. There are in major 'damage control' (for themselves of course) and it is mind f***ing numbing to read they are going about this by painting concerned citizens with the 'nutjob' brush claiming it is Radiophobia.

they are going about this by painting concerned citizens with the 'nutjob' brush claiming it is Radiophobia.

It's gunna backfire on them this time. The tipping point has been reached, in my never humble opinion, smiling

They are going to (are) parade their criminal lunacy for everyone to see and they can't help themselves because it's all they know. When it isn't working, just pile on more. They'll bury themselves.

Or sociopaths, I can't decide which is worse but I have no doubt they are the deciders. Great post.

re: Psychopaths?

Thanks very much for your compliment, Saladin. Much appreciated. Cheers

same thing

Psychopath and sociopath are two different words for the same thing, so don't fret over the difference.

Not True

A psychopath actually has no conception of right and wrong, only of what is beneficial to themselves regardless of the consequences to others. There is no good or evil, just convenience and inconvenience. Sociopaths, on the other hand, a disorder I suspect afflicts 99% of all politicians, understand right and wrong but are able to disregard it in favor of personal gain. They make a conscious choice to do wrong, lie, cheat, steal, if they see it as another step up the ladder. Both disorders seem to be the primary means of functionality driving our world leaders, which explains a lot.

Psychopaths and Sociopaths (updated)

Hi Saladin,
I have a particular interest in this subject. So, if you'll pardon me, I'll weigh in with my 2cents worth now.

This is a very important question and there is more behind this subject than is at first apparent. The author of "Ponerology" (whose name I can never remember how to spell!) makes the same sort of distinction you do regarding politicians, for instance. And I have no quibble with it. I think it is very useful distinction but one that would cloud the issue I think if I were to use it in these short essays. From memory his figures for those two populations are around 6% and 20+%.

“Psychopathy” was a recognised disorder according to the American Psychiatric Association's publication, The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual on Mental Disorders until the third edition (DSM 111) was published in 1980.
In this edition the disorder of 'Sociopathy' appeared and 'Psychopathy' disappeared. Many assumed that it was simply a renaming of the disorder but it was something else.

The criteria were narrowed down to anti-social behaviour as represented by specific law breaking. In other words it was tailored to match a particular delinquent population found in many jails. What was missing were traits that were present in many who made the laws rather than just those that broke them. So psychiatry officially does not admit to the existence of these social menaces (psychopaths) within our society anymore. Many would say people such as Dick Cheney, for instance.

Many people, including myself, believe this dropping of the recognition of psychopaths that are a real menace to everybody in our societies was deliberate and based on the APA's involvement in mind control experimentation and the prevalence of psychopaths amongst their membership; something that has been documented (though I can't point you to a reference, unfortunately). If you are unfamiliar with this side of the APA, googling “Dr Ewen Cameron” will be enlightening.

So we have a situation where some researchers in the field, Robert Hare being the most eminent, still hold to the reality of these psychopaths and use that term. Others such as the psychologist, Dr Martha Stout Phd, who wrote the very helpful and popular book, “The Sociopath Next Door” use the term “sociopath' while obviously referring to psychopaths not just habitual delinquents.

So it gets very confusing especially when someone like Stout uses an APA term to describe a population that the APA do not recognise as existing i.e. psychopaths. It appears then that they are interchangeable when they are not technically (i.e. if you go by the APA's definition). But they are interchangeable in practice (by some at least) as evidenced by Martha Stout.

In Australia, psychologists are more inclined to follow the dictates of the Australian Psychiatric Association more so than independent thinking psychiatrists, ironically. It may be the same in the US thus often accounting for the technical misuse of the term of sociopathy.

In short there's a lot of politics involved that most are not aware of and this clouds this very issue when it comes up for public discussion. (mostly to the benefit of the APA agenda)

So I use the term 'psychopath' because it better describes the population I'm talking about and because, in my view, to refer to them as sociopaths is misleading and buying into a deceit perpetrated on the medical and wider community by the APA who have a very dark history and agenda.

In common parlance though, many use these terms interchangeably and I do not argue with that. However in my own writing, I am conscious of the difference and stick to 'psychopathy. Plus it is intuitively more widely and accurately understood by non medical people. It could usefully be said that 'psychopathy' is a subset of 'sociopathy'.

So, in my view, you are right in terms of your technical approach to this and Winter is correct in his more common practical approach (if I can judge your approaches by naming them thusly).

But there is this larger and more sinister context which few are aware of which, I believe, that is inclusive of both your approaches but would be tedious for you both, I'm sure, to define each time.

You'll find Hare's Psychopathy Checklist in the links at the bottom of my article.

A couple of more references (you'll need to read between the lines a little to get my interpretation of events)

Good but long

It is a very long article! It is written by Laura Knight Jadczyk and whatever she writes is always exhaustively researched. So, regardless of what you may think of her conclusions on a subject you know she has read every scrap of material she could find on it. She is married to the renowned Polish physicist Arkdiusz Jadczyk. They were the people that were contacted by the Polish Psychiatrist Andrew Lobaczewski, the author of Political Ponerology, and the were the ones who who finally had his book published.

Here is another good article which they had posted at the same site.
22 August 2010 Time for Change: Why the Corrupt Few Wreak So Much Death, Destruction, and Suffering on the Rest of us

Also note the links to books on Zionism on the right sidebar. The last link is not working but the other four books are all available to read online.

Laura Knight Jadczyk

thanks for all this research and links, McJ. I think Laura has done more than anyone to get this info on psychopaths out into general circulation. Well here goes my reading time today smiling

And here I thought I was keeping things simple! For me the bottom line is that career politicians appear to be of a particular nature in that they know the difference between good and evil, or, right and wrong if you prefer, they swear an oath to defend the Constitution, which they acknowledge as the law of the land, and then proceed to do whatever they deem necessary to ascend to the top of the ladder. They know what they are doing and I believe they planned it from the beginning. That would explain why sociopaths are attracted to positions of power and authority, they were born to it, and that is why we are in the dire straights we see today. I don't see how a clinical psychopath would be able to function with a facade of normality for years and years since they are actually insane. But, what do I know being neither sociopath or psychopath?

hi Saladin,
I appreciate what you are saying and I have gone on at length over a simple comment of yours. But I believe you have touched on a very important issue. So if you will indulge me I'd be grateful. smiling

i agree with all you say except on the functioning aspect of psychopaths. Psychopaths, in fact, function extremely well in the situations you describe i.e. in politics, for instance.

They are highly functioning which technically means they are not insane but they are never-the-less, as we know. Few of them fit the image of a Woody Harrelson with a chainsaw. They look much more like characters that might range in appearance and affect from Newt Gingrich or Richard Holbrooke to GWB to Obama.

Speaking of appearance, they all have what a friend of mine calls "fish eyes". They are cold and there's no emotion in them. Check out this picture

My (over)simplified description or understanding of the difference between sociopathy and psychopathy is that the the sociopaths break the laws whereas the psychopaths make the laws. All psychopaths could be called sociopaths but not all sociopaths are psychopaths.

My view is that both conditions are on a continuum and this continuum has been truncated clinically by the psychopaths in the psychiatric profession to exclude themselves and their sponsors and to push the lesser examples of their condition (the sociopaths) to the fore to attract all the attention.

This might sound tedious and straw splitting but I think it is of the utmost importance. The biggest obstacle to bringing peace, justice, you name it, to this world is the non-understanding of the dynamic behind all the problems involving mass death and destruction and corruption generally. And that dynamic is the nature of psychopathy.

The psychopaths wreak such havoc in our societies because they are effectively invisible to the general population. It is absolutely critical that they be seen for what they are. Once psychopaths are exposed and understood by the majority of people, all our major problems will cease. Guaranteed! This is because they are in the minority and need useful idiots to work for them to carry out their plans.

The problems of this world are the result of the war waged by psychopaths on the rest of us.

I urge all readers to read AP's latest article at Twelfth Bough for a great description of this.

And for those wishing to understand this condition further and its threat to us all, I recommend McJ's links here and here

ok, I'm getting off my hobby-horse now smiling

Whoa... that is some hobby horse you have there. smiling

Thanks for clarifying the distinction between sociopaths and psychopaths. I agree, it is an important one and I would add that Laura Knight Jadczyk uses the term psychopath exclusively.

"psychopath" vs. "sociopath"

I usually don't argue about semantics but this is a good place to do so, I think. My point of view on this topic is very different than those expressed above.

I my not have done as much reading as James, but I have done quite a bit and I have seen the terms "psychopath" and "sociopath" used in many different ways, with some writers assuming different distinctions between the two, and others using one term or the other exclusively. In general I found all this very confusing until I reached the point of view I expressed very briefly above, which I will try to explicate further in the hope of prolonging the confusion.

I see "psychopath" and "sociopath" as two different ways of describing the same sort of person, with the difference between the two lying NOT in the person being described, but in the point of view (or state of mind) of the person choosing the word.

Literally, "psycho"-"path" refers to someone with mental disorder (i.e. "pathology" of the "psyche"), whereas "socio"-"path" refers to someone who is detructive ("pathogenic") to a civilized group of people ("society").

In both cases we're talking about people who have no conscience, no empathy, no sympathy, and no regard for the rest of us, who matter not a smidge to them except insofar as we can be used as pawns.

These people (whatever you want to call them) tend to share certain other characteristics, by virtue of which most of the distinctions people try to make between them strike me as useless if not outright counterproductive (whether they label the distinction "psychopath vs. sociopath" or otherwise) .

In particular, I do not accept the idea that one can draw a distinction between those who know the difference between right and wrong (i.e. those who know that what they are doing is wrong but do it anyway) vs. those who have no idea of right and wrong at all. I reject this notion because one of the identifying characteristics of the people we are talking about is a propensity for lying.

I believe very strongly that if you're going to make any decisions at all based on what these people say, you're going to be wrong more often than not unless you are constantly mindful of the probability that they are lying. In other words, to put it too bluntly, a "psychopath" does not become a "sociopath" in my book just because he can quote the Constitution, or because he has learned any number of other behaviors that come naturally to people with consciences.

From a diagnostic point of view, the most commonly used term for the condition is "psychopathy," and that makes sense semantically to me. I would also point out that psychopathy is classified as a "mental disorder" (i.e. rather than an "illness") because there is no known cure. In fact there is no known treatment.

While we're on it, I do subscribe to the idea that some people have more severe manifestations of the disorder than others. But from a semantic point of view, I do not think it useful to describe one end of the spectrum as "psychopathic" and the other as "sociopathic." They are ALL screwed in the head (some more screwed than others) and they are ALL menaces to society (some more dangerous than others), and therefore, as I see it, the more severe psychopaths are more sociopathic, and the less severe psychopaths are less sociopathic. But, more importantly, all the sickos are menaces to society, in my view.

Even if they don't become mass murderers, or even if they never kill at all, the "less severe" ones are still extremely dangerous. Even those whose disorder could be called "mild" do horrific damage to the people around them.

I could go on and on but it would all be on the same theme; if you share my understanding of what the words mean, then a lot of the fog lifts and most of the distinctions that people try to draw between "psychopath" and "sociopath" are revealed as pointless. (Whether such distinctions result from a desire to deceive or are simply the result of individual differences in points of view and/or understanding of the language, who can say? I think you'd have to answer that one on a case-by-case basis.)

Much more importantly, I think, it's imperative that we recognize the fact (which is very clear by now, in my opinion) that (as I have been using the words above), psychopaths at high levels are highly sociopathic. In other words, it is impossible to sustain a society in which the people who lack consciences are in charge.

It may be less obvious to some readers than to others, but I believe it is also clear that psychopaths at any level are also highly sociopathic. In other words, because they tend to seek power and because they tend to be successful at it, it is impossible to sustain a society in which people without consciences are allowed to exist at all.

Well that's my hobby horse and I'll be falling off of it in a second ...

My old horse

Thanks for the interesting contributions on the subject Winter. Them hobby horses are getting a real workout. I have mine in the closet and I'm going to leave it there because it clearly is not the fancy models you guys are riding. laughing out loud
I am going to stick with the descriptor "the evil ones" or simply "the paths" like AP uses. It suits me well when I am on my old horse. smiling

excellent post, James

thanks very much

thanks very much, Winter. My pleasure. Well, not exactly, but you know what I mean smiling .

I guess I had my own little meltdown as I know a lot of others have over this

Great writing at Sherlock's, btw (if you missed my comment in the flurry of all rest of them)

Hey Joe! Re: Chat room

James deleted his comment and it wiped out everything below it including your comment. He's been reading too much of that Libya coverage. laughing out loud

I am ok with you making the chat room visible to all members. If we want private chats we can select that option.

Here's the link to the chat room for now. http://winterpatriot.com/node/536

Getting Really Sick Of IT

Hi Guys, what an awesome post James..
I Have friggin tears now rolling down my cheecks..
I have had enough of this fucken war and killing business..
For the nearly 43 years i have been alive..there has basically been NON stop war in the world...somewhere..and the same fuckers are behind it all
What kind of future will there be for our kids..I hope my son doesn't turn out to be a murderous army/ contractor thug..or my daughter have deformed babies cause of more "accidents" in nuclear facilities..
When the fuck is it gonna end?? Hope fully not like in the top picture you have used.
sorry about the F words..
respect and Regards to you.

hi A13, thanks for you kind

hi A13,
thanks for you kind words. I wouldn't worry too much about using 'f' words around here. I think it is one of the big failings of the English language that we have a dearth of cursing language. That lack is felt particularly when discussing this sort of thing.

Though this world is not our true home, I don't believe God will let evil destroy it. It would defeat the whole purpose. You may not share my beliefs but there they are if it is of any help.

The evil fuckers and the force behind them are getting desperate and what we are seeing is this force 'flaming out'. So it won't be pretty but we will win in the end.
My 2 cents worth (fwiw smiling )

Cracking post James and excellent commentary.

thanks Chuck

I very much respect your opinion. So, I'm chuffed smiling

Sorry about delay in responding. I missed seeing your comment for some reason - old-timers disease prolly!

There was a plug for Laura

There was a plug for Laura knight Jadczyk earlier, this woman is a fraud and the leader of a pretty nasty cult called cassiopaea. They not only want your money but you mind and your complete obedience to boot.

Please do as much research as you can on this woman before going anywhere near her

Re: Laura

I must say i haven't read anything on Laura Knight Jadczyk's sites to suggest she is anything like you say, anonymous.

Time is short for me and for many others. So doing research without knowing what i'm looking for is an unappealing prospect. But you sound like you have done this research so could you post some links or make an argument to back up your claims?

Thanks Sally. for readers

Thanks Sally.
for readers short on time, below is the pertinent question and full answer

Q: Let me ask you specifically about last week's scare here in Washington, and what we might have learned from how prepared we are to deal with that (inaudible), at B'nai Brith.

A: Well, it points out the nature of the threat. It turned out to be a false threat under the circumstances. But as we've learned in the intelligence community, we had something called -- and we have James Woolsey here to perhaps even address this question about phantom moles. The mere fear that there is a mole within an agency can set off a chain reaction and a hunt for that particular mole which can paralyze the agency for weeks and months and years even, in a search. The same thing is true about just the false scare of a threat of using some kind of a chemical weapon or a biological one. There are some reports, for example, that some countries have been trying to construct something like an Ebola Virus, and that would be a very dangerous phenomenon, to say the least. Alvin Toeffler has written about this in terms of some scientists in their laboratories trying to devise certain types of pathogens that would be ethnic specific so that they could just eliminate certain ethnic groups and races; and others are designing some sort of engineering, some sort of insects that can destroy specific crops. Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.

So there are plenty of ingenious minds out there that are at work finding ways in which they can wreak terror upon other nations. It's real, and that's the reason why we have to intensify our efforts, and that's why this is so important.

Any guesses as to who is employing all these ingenious minds that are intent on mass murder? Alvin Toeffler seems to know a lot about these ingenious minds and what they are working on. Why don't they just 'water board' him and find out who and where they are. Simple enough! No?

Thanks for that James. There

Thanks for that James.
There is a lot of other horriffic info in that article and yes it doesn't take a lot of guess work to imagine who is most likely behind all that evil.
