by Scott CreightonDonald Trump is NOT the biggest threat to the unDemocratic Party or the fake-left “progressive” wannabe leaders swimming around trying to feed off the wreckage of the 2016 election cycle
When things start falling apart, when the ship is leaning and taking on water, the opportunists scuttle out of the woodwork like sharks appearing from the deep looking to cash in for a meal.
And make no mistake about it, the unDemocratic Party is at a historic low for a party which understands what it means to always be finding new historic lows.
That’s understandable because Barack Obama understood his job. And he was good at it. He kept his personal Obama “brand” at a passable margin while decimating the country with right-wing, neoliberal economic policies, all under the guise of left-cover. He did his job well like the fake-dem, Bill Clinton, did before him. And just look how Slick Willie (what an apt nickname) profited from that.
Right now in this country, it’s like watching an episode of American Idol, the early part where they are all auditioning in the open cattle calls from state to state. Only, instead of talent-less singers you have talent-less wannabe heroes, leaders and champions from the fake-left.
Like they think the next Slick Willie or President Peace Prize is waiting to be born and all they have to do is jump out in front of a camera and give voice to the frustration of the thwarted “progressives”, these aspiring opportunists are all clamoring for the brass ring, crawling over the bodies of the other failed superstars of the party, in hopes that they can cash in on the chaos that is the unDemocratic Party today.
You see them all over the place. They’re a dime a dozen. It’s funny actually. Funny in a pathetic/zombie apocalypse sort of way.
Keith Olbermann dusted off his “moral outrage” voice, put his “ESPN idiot jock-worshiping frat-boy” voice back in the closet and with little irony and even less nuance, named his ridiculous GQ webzine TV show “The Resistance”. Keith surely misses the days when he was the voice of opposition to the corrupt Bush regime. He didn’t miss it that much during the Obama years when he turned into a mute sycophant and his ratings dropped consistently until MSNBC finally did away with him.
Cenk Uygur and Kyle Kulinski have started what they call the “Justice Democrats” in an effort to raise money, garner some political followers and hopefully put themselves at the top of the ticket so they can each win some kind of congressional seat from which they can “save America” or some such nonsense.
In reality, they are attempting to keep the younger left from leaving the corrupt unDemocratic Party altogether, so they emphasis “taking it over from within”.
translation: “we’ll get some young people to stick with the Killary Party in hopes the Killary Party recognizes our efforts and lets us in THE BIG CLUB”
Uygur and Kulinski have been controlled opposition assets for the Obama administration since day one and I guess they figure it’s time to get some payback for their efforts.
The “Justice Dems’ are getting all sorts of free publicity from neoliberal influence peddlers like the Washington Post and Morning Joe and interestingly enough, Zack Exley is a founding member of their effort and Zack just happens to be the the financial bridge between MoveOn.org and billionaire Hillary-fan, George Soros.
Exley was a Fellow at the Open Society Foundation and what he studied there is pretty interesting considering what he is doing now with the “Justice Dems”
“As an Open Society Fellow, he was based in Missouri, where he worked to identify “leaderless” organizing models that would enable local leaders, activists, and social service providers to mobilize diverse constituencies that do not normally work together” Open Society Foundation page on Zack Exley
That “leaderless” model is how they advertise the Justice Dems, by the way.
Here he is explaining grass-roots “democracy” to us. That special kind of grass-roots democracy his billionaire benefactor is famous for.
Here’s a graphic from a portfolio review of the Open Society Foundations’ “investigative journalism”. You might notice something interesting where I highlighted…
Cenk and Kyle are the front-men for George Soros’ community organizing effort to keep millions of young, left-leaning voters from leaving the corruption of the unDemocratic Party in the future.
It’s a scam folks. A project. A project Soros hired Zack Exley to run.
It’s not progressive. It’s not “CHANGE”. It’s not opposition to anything, other than real democracy that is.
That’s why Kyle went on a tirade the other day against people, journalists like myself, who have reported repeatedly that the unDemocratic Party engaged in wide-spread election fraud in order to get Hillary Clinton out of the primary process and onto the general as their candidate.
It should be noted, George Soros has invested heavily in companies that own and operate rigged e-voting machines. And he is certainly in bed with the corrupt leaders of the unDemocratic Party, the ones who made the calls across the country to get sympathetic DP state officials to help them “flip the switch” on voting machines or “accidentally” switch Bernie voter’s registrations to a party that wasn’t allowed to vote in the primary.
As best as I could tell, Bernie Sanders whipped Hillary’s butt in the primary. It wasn’t even close. Trump probably did the same, but they rigged as much as they could and figured they didn’t need to rig a couple key states that USED to make up the Blue Wall… so they lost. Then they padded the numbers in Cali in hopes that they could use a popular vote mantra to their advantage for further efforts at her coronation. All of which failed. So far.
Kyle’s ridiculous controlled opposition performance was discussed the other day by Debbie at Sane Progressive. You should check it out when you get a chance.
Elizabeth Warren is trying to reclaim a bit of the progressive street credibility she used to have before backing away from Sanders’ campaign and then joining in with Killery for the final push. She is a complete and total fraud who now openly speaks in the language of the neoliberal Disaster Capitalist.
“We’re gathered today in Baltimore during a moment of crisis – for us as progressives, for us as Democrats…
We’re in a moment of crisis…
Our moment of crisis didn’t begin with the election of Donald Trump…
We were already in crisis..
We were already in crisis because…
We were already in a moment of crisis because…
In November, America elected Donald Trump.
Yes, the Russians helped.
Yes, the FBI director helped.
Yes, he lost the popular vote by three million…
And we need to figure out what comes next…” Elizabeth Warren
To the neoliberal Washington Consensus, crisis is golden.
In crisis opportunity is born. Opportunity to remake constitutions. Opportunity to remake economic and social policy. Opportunity to change the hearts and minds of targeted population in order to remake their belief systems into something more conducive to their world view.
The fact that she is speaking in the language of the Disaster Capitalist concerns me. The fact that she is using the opportunity to reshape the agenda of the left is even more troubling.
She says we will “fight back” against a Muslim ban that really isn’t a Muslim ban. Meaning she wants to make sure Starbucks, Microsoft, Apple and all the other major corporations in America can keep counting on even more cheap labor in the future.
She says we will “fight back” against “ripping away healthcare from millions of working people” meaning, she wants us to keep the unconstitutional mandate that forces young, underpaid American workers buying HEALTH INSURANCE (not “healthcare”) on behalf of the same health insurance monstrosities that helped Obama write Obamacare.
She says we will “fight back” against those who wish to roll back a woman’s right to choose. She doesn’t say we will win. She says we will “fight back”
The hypocrisy of what Elizabeth Warren voiced the other day could not be more obvious in this last statement of hers that I will share with you:
“And we will add our voices to the voices of millions of people in this country who are standing up to say that the character of this nation is not the character of its President.
No. In our democracy, We the People decide the character of this nation.” Elizabeth Warren
She would have been just fine and dandy with the character of the nation being defined by the character of Hillary Clinton, right? Just as she seemed peachy keen with the character of President Peace Prize as he did away with Habeas Corpus and droned families to death to the tune of one a day in nations we had no legal authority to be in.
Just for reference: We The People chose Bernie Sanders over Hillary Clinton in the primary. Elizabeth seems to have forgotten that and in fact, supported the one who stole the nomination from We The People.
We The People looked past all the fear-mongering and identity politics of the Clinton team and ignored the constant campaigning on her behalf by the complicit media and went out and elected Donald Trump (of all people) and yet Elizabeth Warren is apparently ready to do whatever it takes to thwart the will of We The People at every turn.
She isn’t resistance. She never was. She’s a mega-rich politician who has cultivated the “angry self-righteous woman on the left” character like Denzel has done the “angry black man” and Clint Eastwood did with the “quietly angry whispering, sneering redneck with a gun” version.
It’s a stock performance and once you see enough of her speeches and her interviews, the pattern of her performance because so dreadfully obvious you cant stand watching anymore of them (kinda like Bernie in that regard, huh? hmmm)
Her forced passionate indignation has all the spontaneity of a metronome.
But she did say one honest thing: “we need to figure out what comes next”
On going to lay a little truth on you, just for the fun of it. Pay attention now:
Donald Trump is NOT the biggest threat to the unDemocratic Party or the fake-left “progressive” sharks swimming around trying to feed off the carcass of the 2016 election cycle.
Donald Trump is not the biggest threat, nor is his neoliberal economic agenda that looks like it will make Ronald Reagan look like Fidel Castro.
It’s called the Washington Consensus for a reason. George Soros is as big of a fan of neoliberalism as are the Koch brothers, Goldman Sachs, Milton Friedman, Oprah Winfrey and … Elizabeth Warren.
The REAL threat to the unDemocratic Party is losing it’s grasp on more than half the country’s population.
Face it, as much as Bernie wasn’t actually a socialist, he was socialist enough to fool the average American and if he had been ALLOWED to win the nomination, he would have destroyed Donald “WWE actor” Trump, possibly taking all 50 states. I will stand by that conclusion till the day I die (so don’t even bother…)
For all their efforts to bring the left “to the center”, the crafters of the Lewis Powell Memo and its acolytes have failed in their task. A fake-populist won beating out the Washington Consensus’ hand-picked successor to the throne. And if it had been allowed, a socialist would have been the only thing the unDems could have presented to beat him.
Yes the unDems are shaken. Yes they failed miserably. But not because liberal ideology is dead… that will be the story the fake-right tells you. But it isn’t the case and you can tell that by just how desperate they are to regain control of the left.
You see, they lost control. They expected to use Sanders and his campaign as a sheep dog but what they got instead was Cerberus.. in reverse.
Cerberus keeps the damned from leaving hell. What the Sanders campaign did was to expose the unDemocratic Party as hell on earth and throw the doors wide open for anyone who cares to end their torment.
And they are desperate to make sure they manage the exit paths of all those millions of voters and donors like Moses leading the Jews through the parted Red Sea (or something like that)
So they will offer dusted off heroes from your distant past (Olbermann) or new Young Turks to sheep dog you back into the flock (Cenk and Kyle) or a fiery proven shill to lead the way to the morality of the new just-right-of-Reagan “progressive” party (Warren).. they will do all of this while calling it “resistance”
But the only thing they are really resisting is your urge to abandon the sinking ship. They’re running around on deck saying “we can resist the ocean! we can resist the sharks! don’t leave! stay ONE MORE TIME!” all the while, they’re feeding you to them, serving you up on a platter like a lamb to the wolves.
What they fear is your awakening which has already taken place. And they rightly fear it because when it comes to fruition, they and all those infected by the disease they thrive on, will be washed away in the undercurrent of real populist democracy.
That’s why they cant stand for talk in the echo chambers of their creation about election fraud. Because without it, without election rigging, their time at the grown-ups table is short.
Crisis is opportunity. Opportunity for change. Every real revolution depends upon that.
What these frauds offer is not change. Is not resistance. Is not revolution. But it is coming. And like Lear to the tempest, they are powerless to stop it.
I hope in the aftermath we remember these days and those who would step out to the forefront to attempt to redirect the redeeming tide which is upon us.
The Donald is exposing his version of “CHANGE” everyday.
The fake left have already had their masks ripped from their faces.
The storm surge is mere moments away as the Washington Consensus fitfully bags sand in a pointless effort to save their glorious mansion from ruin.
I laugh at these transparent efforts from the fake left to manage your rebellion. The morally impaired cannot lead a moral revolution anymore than Helen Keller could fly a plane. The tragic outcome isn’t just probable, it’s unavoidable. If I were you, I wouldn’t buy a ticket for that flight.
As to what comes next, that all important burning question from Warren, I don’t know. Desperation in the political class produces false flags. Desperation in the billionaire class produces “making the economy scream” economic terrorism. But desperation in the washed, beautiful masses? Well, that produces all kinds of stuff doesn’t it? Revolutions, gallows, prison terms, riots. All sorts of the things that make Wall Street and her apologists tremble in fear.
What’s next is what they fear and as they have so historically failed in this last few years to maintain control, they fear that trend will continue. And it will.
They will learn what I already know, you cannot change human nature. You might be able to put it off for a while, to retard the fire growing in our hearts, but you can no more make a lion into a goat than you can a man into a sheep. They will play along for a while. Not for long.
In the end, you get bit. Human nature will win out. Because nature is the ultimate consensus as she is an unforgiving and vengeful mother f_____er.“You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty.” Mahatma Gandhi

Let’s not forget that Senator John McCain was on the ground in Kiev, rubbing shoulders with neo-nazi elements overthrowing a democratically elected government in Ukraine in 2014.

Yesterday, President Trump’s UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said “Crimea is part of Ukraine. Our Crimea-related sanctions will remain in place until Russia returns control over the peninsula to Ukraine,”
“She added that her country was seeking to improve relations with Moscow, at the same time asserting that Crimea’s reunification with Russia was “aggression,” “occupation” and “military intervention.” TASS
The people of Crimea and Sevastopol held a referendum on March 6th, 2014 in which over 80% of the voting age populations turned out and it resulted in over 90% of the votes in both areas were to rejoin the Russian Federation and get away from the brutality of the new, neo-Nazi, Obama created government in Ukraine.
The revisionist historians claim Russia “invaded and occupied” Crimea prior to the referendum. This is an old lie that was thoroughly debunked years ago but still persists today, unfortunately. And apparently it is now being repeated by the Trump administration of “CHANGE” (sound familiar?)
The Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Igor Pavlovsky, admitted day before yesterday that Ukraine is mounting a new offensive in the Donbass region against separatists who also don’t want to live in Obama’s neo-Nazi Ukraine. It is a direct violation of the Minsk Agreements.
“Today, no matter what, meter by meter, step by step and seizing the opportunity, our boys are heroically moving forward,” Pavlovsky stated while commenting on the situation in Avdeevka.” Fort Russ News
It would appear that the Ukrainian military is shelling residential areas in the separatist regions. Of course, the complicit media blames Putin for this, not Porky Porosenko.
It is also being reported that a ballistic missile strike launched by the Ukrainian military has struck the center of Donetsk.
“Reports are coming in of what appears to be a ballistic missile strike which hit the city center of Donetsk. Until now, only the western and northern suburbs of Donetsk had been affected by a massive barrage of artillery strikes (thousands of shells) fired by the Ukronazi forces. Multiple rocket launchers were also used. This time, however, the type of missile used as a tactical ballistic missile of the Tochka-U type” The Saker
There is a video of what is reported to be the aftermath of that strike.
You can find a large cache of up to date videos of the situation in Donbass here at News FRONT Youtube channel.
On Jan. 31st of this year, globalist apologists were worried that if Trump’s “inward” tendencies to let nations resolve their own issues holds up, then da ebil Pootin would use the opportunity to sweep into Ukraine and take it for his own, nefarious purposes.
Truth is, when the people and the legitimate government decided they wanted no part of the EU, NATO and all the crippling IMF loans that come with them, the Obama REGIME of neoliberal globalists decided they had to act quickly to stage a color revolution and overthrow the government in order to stop that act of national self-determination.
It was the U.S. and her influence peddlers (like Soros for example) who rushed into Ukraine to undermine the course of democracy, not Vladamir Putin.
That’s why the people of Donbass and Crimea wanted out. And as we have seen ever since, they were right to want to do so.
Trump was elected, in part, on a non-interventionist platform. And here we see his UN representative regurgitating a stand on Crimea and Ukraine that could easily have come from the mouth of Samantha Power, one of the most vile, lying, war-mongering trolls President Obama ever hired.
With this new offensive and violation of the peace accord being conducted by our puppet regime in Ukraine and Trump’s mouthpiece’s response at the UN, it seems we are unfortunately about to see heightened violence in eastern Ukraine and perhaps even in Crimea.
from the Washington Post
President Trump plans to order a rollback Friday of regulations governing the financial services industry and Wall Street under the Dodd-Frank law and beyond.
Gary Cohn, White House Economic Council director, told the Wall Street Journal the administration would also move against a regulation designed to force retirement advisers to work in the best interest of their clients, the “fiduciary rule,” set to take effect in April and designed to eliminate conflicts-of-interests among professionals dealing with those enrolled in qualified retirement plans and IRAs.
In an interview with the Journal, Cohn, a former president of Goldman Sachs, said the order was a “table setter for a bunch of stuff that is coming.”..

Well ok then. I guess now it’s not so much of a conspiracy theory that Alex Jones is, was and will always be a Zionist controlled-opposition shill working the Harbara side of the street.
— infowars (@infowars) February 1, 2017
Here he and Jerome Corsi are seen pumping-up the chosen ones on his website and delivering the “breaking news” that Bibi will nominate Trump for a Peace Prize for… moving the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv to East Jerusalem… which is actually Palestine.
At first I thought this might be a gag he and Jerome were running too see how many folks would bite on his Onion-styled “fake news”(you know, like when he tried to jump the shark on New Year’s eve 1999 when he was screeching about Russian nukes flying over the north pole?).. but he has a whole page on his website dedicated to it. Plus, there is a full 9 minute Youtube video interview with former State Department asset Corsi talking about it.
So yeah, for those of you who didn’t know already… Di$info Jone$ is a Zionist disinformation asset on the payroll of Tel Aviv.
Corsi and Trump are sitting there with James saying he was getting texts directly from “someone over the Mossad” and then later saying this “breaking news” he was getting was coming directly from “Israeli intelligence” and that the nomination “may not” have “Israel’s name on it, but they made it happen”
Something tells me that’s the first time Alex or James got a scoop straight from Israeli intelligence sources.
Interestingly, Jones talks about how the U.S. and Britain have been “blessed” over the course of the history of their nations BECAUSE they have been good to the Jewish people. That, they say, comes from some biblical quip about being good to the Jews makes God like you more… or some shit like that. Jones said it with a straight face.
Jones smiled big when Corsi told him that he was getting really fresh info from his “sources” in Israeli intelligence and Jones then said “folks, we are really getting things raw now!”
We can just put that one to rest now can’t we? Jones is a Mossad / Hasbara asset. Always has been.

The lies are coming fast and furious. This guy says the medium range ballistic missile (MRBM) Iran tested is “capable of carrying a nuclear warhead and traveling 4,000 km”. But then again he also says “the ayatollah regime” continues to fan the “flames and calling outright for the destruction of the Jewish state.” … so that should give you an idea of the truthfulness of his “fake news” website.
The Khorramshahr MRBM is one of three new missiles Iran has developed. Like most of these types of weapons, it probably has a range of 2,500 km max. A MRBM can ONLY have a range of 3,500 km before it becomes something else (intercontinental ballistic missile perhaps?) So, it can’t have a range of 4,000 km.
It’s also not designed to carry nuclear warheads and even the White House and Defense Department acknowledge that fact. But Hasbara will be Hasbara so you can’t really expect anything else from these guys, can you?
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately went into hyperventilation mode after the test, screeching to the world that action must be taken to stop Iran from developing defensive weapons… weapons designed to defend their country from out of control people like… crazy, ranting racist Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Benjamin Netanyahu’s condemnation of the Iranian missile test is clearly intended to push the new Trump administration to take action against Tehran.
Iran will be high on the agenda when the two men meet in mid-February, though it is as much Iran’s regional activities as its missile programme that worries the Israelis.” BBC
Even propagandists working for the MSM here in the states admit, this is NOT a violation of the P5+1 agreement Iran signed in 2015 (medium range ballistic missile tests are not part of that deal) and most also admit it “probably” isn’t a violation of UNSC resolution 2231.
“Iran, “unlike other major world powers, has not defined its power based on [the possession of] weapons of mass destruction (WMD), including atomic, chemical and biological ones,” the Iranian legislators said.
The sole way to ward off any act of aggression against Iran is to boost the country’s missile might, the MPs added, describing certain countries’ opposition to Iran’s defense might as “illogical.” Press TV
Keep in mind, Iran backs folks in the Middle East that we are trying to get rid of like Assad (the legitimate government of Syria) and the Houthis (the legitimate government in Yemen) so there is considerable effort being exerted on Iran to stop helping thwart the creation of the New Middle East. Also of note, they are a democracy whereas ALL of our “friends” in that part of the world are dictatorships.
Taking their marching orders straight from Crazy Bibi, UN Ambassador Nikki Haley and President Donald Trump’s national security adviser Mike Flynn, flipped out in response to the test.
“The new US ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, has warned Iran that its recent ballistic missile test was “absolutely unacceptable.”
At an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Wednesday, Haley said, “The United States is not naive. We are not going to stand by. You will see us call them out.” AJ news
“Gen. Michael Flynn (ret) told reporters Wednesday that the Trump administration “condemns such actions by Iran that undermine security, prosperity and stability throughout and beyond the Middle East that puts American lives at risk.”
“Iran continues to threaten U.S. friends and allies in the region,” Flynn said, adding that the U.S. is putting Iran on notice because “Iran is now feeling emboldened,” and the Obama administration failed “to respond adequately” to Iran’s actions.” CBS ‘news’
Iran is feeling “emboldened” because the rest of the world is getting sick of the U.S.’s and Israel’s constant warmongering about Iran.
Republicans and Trump alike condemn the July 2015 P5+1 agreement because it starts to normalize international relations with Iran in spite of the best propaganda Israel could produce at the time. They claim Obama went “soft on Iran” when he signed it, but in all honesty, the Obama administration had no choice because the other 5 major nations were going to go through with it with or without the U.S. and the lifting of certain sanctions presented a huge business opportunity for American businesses that would not be able to take advantage of the moment if the then president didn’t sign onto the deal.
For the record, that is the exact same reason Trump hasn’t used his executive order power to back out of the deal.
Iran has a right to develop defensive weapons and Trump and Flynn and his new UN ambassador know that all too well. They are in violation of nothing.
Of course, that wont stop MSM outlets across the fake political divide from doing Israel’s bidding right along with Trump’s new administration officials. Same can be said for the fake “alternative” outlets like Breitbart, Zero Hedge and Prison Planet.
Here is an example of the Hasbara Hate you can find at Zero Hedge for example:
Makes you kinda wonder where they get their funding, now doesn’t it?
This test will go down in history, I hope, as much ado about nothing. Bibi will come to Washington with his Roadrunner Charts of Doom and Trump’s people, the fake-left and all the ReTHUGlicans will bow and scrape and placate his raving, racist rants while dutifully putting out their hands for more “campaign contributions”
Breitbart, Zero Hedge and Di$info Jone$ will forward links to their articles on “da ebil MoooOoooslims” to their Hasbara handlers with the same hand gestures at the ready. I hear they all accept dollars and shekels.
In the end, this will be a nothing story accept for the fact that it reflects a “more of the same” mentality from this new administration. They all take orders from overseas at least in terms of public relations.

President Donald Trump has chosen an ultra-right acolyte of the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia to fill the vacancy created by Scalia’s death a year ago, nominating Neil Gorsuch, a federal appellate judge from the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, based in Denver, Colorado.
Trump unveiled the nomination in a prime-time television production Tuesday night that had been hyped for several days but seemed anticlimactic, lasting only 15 minutes. The former reality television impresario sought to build suspense for the event by inviting the two “finalists” to Washington for the occasion, although he did not complete the degrading spectacle by forcing the runner-up, Judge Thomas Hardiman of the Third Circuit in Pennsylvania, to make an appearance.
Gorsuch has all the right-wing credentials to be Trump’s selection. He is a reliable vote against abortion and for all manner of legal privileges and exemptions for religious groups and institutions; he is a proven defender of the police against democratic rights; and he has sided with businesses against consumers and workers in the vast majority of such cases he heard.
The judge comes from right-wing Republican stock. His mother, Anne Gorsuch Burford, was appointed administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency in 1981 by Ronald Reagan, and given the task of dismantling antipollution regulations. When the Democratic-controlled House of Representatives sought EPA records of how money in the so-called Superfund for cleaning up toxic waste was being spent, Gorsuch defied congressional subpoenas, was cited for contempt and was eventually forced to resign…

To the Government of the United States of America:
I am asking my American government to stop supporting terrorists in Syria. The US government, and media, keep calling them ‘moderate rebels’, but they are not. They were never moderate, and many are not rebels. By definition, a ‘rebel’ is rebelling against their own government. However, many of the US backed ‘rebels’ are not Syrian, and have no family ties to Syria, and have never been a citizen of Syria. For example, how could a Chinese citizen fight in a rebellion against the American government? By what right does a Chinese citizen have to kill and maim in order to change the US government? It is wrong and makes no sense.
I would never advocate, or support any armed attack, or rebellion against the American government. There are laws against murdering, raping, kidnapping and maiming people in USA. The same such laws exist in Syria. How could a democracy and a world leader like USA advocate murdering, raping, kidnapping and maiming innocent Syrian people?..

Fighting in east Ukraine has restarted. This is an attempt by “deep state” forces to prevent any rapprochement between the U.S. and Russia under the new Trump administration.
The west-Ukrainian forces under command of the coup government of President Poroshenko started a large attack against the Russian supported Ukrainian self-defense forces in Donetsk and Lugansk governate.
A ceasefire arranged after the Minsk II agreement provided for demilitarized zones along a line of separation. The Ukrainian government has so far avoided to fulfill the Minsk II agreement that would allow a reuniting of the country. An OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (SMM), which includes officers from NATO countries as well as Russia, is supervising the ceasefire and issues daily reports.
On January 26 the SMM reported:
The SMM recorded more ceasefire violations in Donetsk region, including about 420 explosions, compared with 228 in the previous reporting period. More than 160 explosions were recorded around the Svitlodarsk area, with exchanges of fire also recorded around Avdiivka and Yasynuvata.
The Mission revisited a Ukrainian Armed Forces permanent storage site, whose location corresponded with the relevant withdrawal lines and observed that 12 tanks (T-64) and four mortars (2B9 Vasilek, 82mm) were missing, as previously noted.
The SMM followed up on reports of a blockade of a railway track near government-controlled Hirske. The railway leads towards the “LPR”-controlled settlements of Donetskyi and Sentianivka (formerly Frunze) (49 and 44km west of Luhansk, respectively). The Mission had observed a train travelling east through Donetskyi on 23 January. The SMM observed that the tracks had been blocked by tree trunks under a bridge on the southern edge of the settlement. About 20 unarmed men wearing camouflage clothing told the Mission that they were veterans from former volunteer battalions. The SMM observed a tent near the blockade site.
The observations on the 26th pointed to the preparation of a full attack which was launched on January 28:
The SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations in Donetsk region between the evenings of 27 and 28 January compared with the previous reporting period (including about 330 explosions compared with about 520). In the following 24 hours, however, the SMM recorded over 2,300 explosions, primarily in the Avdiivka-Yasynuvata-Donetsk airport area.
The SMM observed that the intense artillery barrage was launched north to south originating from the government held area.
The NAZI volunteer battalions from west-Ukrainian Galicia are spearheading the attack. There is ongoing fighting with intense artillery usage on several points along the ceasefire line (map). One main battle ground is the city of Avdeevka in the demilitarized zone north-west of Donetzk city…

UPDATE: Right on time, as if by script, Trump’s administration has issued a stern warning to Iran for test firing a missile, which they are allowed to do according to the P5+1 agreement. What makes it interesting is they cross-purpose an accusation against the Houthis in Yemen in the same press release saying they attacked a Saudi vessel for no reason. They even produced a nifty handy video, supposedly from the Houthi boat, with them yelling “Allah Akbar” and “Death to America” and “Death to the Jews” and all the other things propaganda producers like to include in their videos which will supposedly make Yemen the villains all of a sudden as opposed to the victims. Gee, they’re so clever, aren’t they? Shades of Umar Fizzlepants right after Obama’s cruise missile attack.
Years ago I and a few others wrote about two Dec. 2009 cruise missile attacks in Yemen which then president Barack Obama ordered and which killed 23 children along with several other civilians (17 of whom were women). It was horrible. It was cruel. And it was ignored across the board by Obama’s apologists in the corporate media and his partisan fan base a.k.a. “the progressives”
At the time we were not officially at war with Yemen and our puppet dictator, Ali Saleh, was still in power. But a revolution was growing and our “national interests” were at risk, so we named the resistance “al Qaeda” and launched cruise missile attacks at two homes and killed 23 kids… all in the name of President Peace Prize.
Three days ago Chuck Schumer pretended to cry for all the little children who would supposedly be turned away from our borders by President Trump. I saw he pretend to shed no tears for those Yemeni children. Such is the state of affairs of the moral center of the unDemocratic Party.
Not to be outdone, The Donald has already unleashed a disaster of a covert operation in Yemen himself which bears remarkable similarities to two of President Peace Prize’s botched military missions.
Or, let us say, a disaster of a covert operation in Yemen has just taken place under his watch. But then again, the military undermined Obama’s and Kerry’s peace deal with Russia and Syria by attacking the Syrian military “by accident’ and then getting their “moderate” terrorists to attack a UN aid convoy… and of course Trump had just shut down entry to those same “moderate” terrorists on Friday… so…?
Similarity 1: the Quest to Kill a Honeypot Named Anwar
Of course the first of Obama’s “botched” efforts was his 2009 cruise missile strike in Yemen in which he was supposedly trying to kill a U.S. citizen named Anwar al-Awlaki.
al-Awlaki was once considered a “good moderate Muslim” by the press as he was promoted for various events by his friends… at the Pentagon. In fact, he was much more than just a good Muslim… he was a company man who was being groomed for bigger things.
“Soon after the 9/11 attacks, al-Awlaki was sought in Washington, D.C. by the media to answer questions about Islam, its rituals, and its relation to the attacks. He was interviewed by National Geographic, The New York Times, and other media. Al-Awlaki condemned the attacks. According to an NPR report in 2010, in 2001 al-Awlaki appeared to be a moderate who could “bridge the gap between the United States and the worldwide community of Muslims.” The New York Times said at the time that he was “held up as a new generation of Muslim leader capable of merging East and West.” In 2010, FOX and the New York Daily News reported that some months after the 9/11 attacks, a Pentagon employee invited al-Awlaki to a luncheon in the Secretary’s Office of General Counsel. The U.S. Secretary of the Army had suggested that a moderate Muslim be invited to give a talk.
Anwar’s father is Nasser al-Awlaki. He was the Minister of Agriculture in our Yemeni puppet dictator Ali Abdullah Saleh‘s government. Some said at the time of the attack in 2009 that Anwar was “the next bin-Laden”. Does his deeply connected family ties to our imperialist regime remind you of Osama’s connections? They should.
Anwar liked the hookers. He liked them a lot. Got busted several times for hooking up with them from what I understand. That’s probably how they sunk their hooks into him. That or his fascist daddy back in Yemen.
But they liked him and they saw he could serve their interests… not as a recruiter or a planner.. but as a honeypot. He had all the right gifts and all the right skills.
His proficiency as a public speaker and command of the English language helped him attract followers who did not speak Arabic. “He was the magic bullet”, according to the mosque spokesman Johari Abdul-Malik. “He had everything all in a box.” “He had an allure. He was charming.”
In 2002 Anwar went over to England to try his hand at luring Muslims into his web of deceit. That didn’t last long and in 2004 he moved with his family to Yemen to be around his father who was still working at the time for the brutal dictator, our brutal dictator, Saleh.
So in 2009 President Peace Prize supposedly gave an order to kill Anwar al-Awlaki in order to put an end to the rise of “al-Qaeda” in Yemen. He wasn’t there of course and 23 children and 17 women died in his stead. But they weren’t ‘al-Qaeda”. al-Qaeda works for us. They certain do in Syria, right?
In reality, Obama and the CIA was going after resistance members and they used Anwar’s name as a smoke-screen. They targeted who they wanted and the killed who they wanted. They sent a message to those in the country who would dare stand up to our ownership of their country. Under Saleh, the people of Yemen were the poorest in the world while American businessmen like Hunt made billions off their natural resources and a pipeline running from Saudi Arabia to the Gulf of Aden. The revolution threatened those “national interests” of ours so President Peace Prize took action. And he subsequently continued that kind of brutal action in the country until the day he stepped onto a helicopter and flew off into the sunset.
Later, Obama would kill Anwar with a drone strike in 2011. It was the first U.S. citizen President Obama would kill in his Globalist War OF Terror but it wouldn’t be the last.
Two weeks after that, Obama gave the approval for another CIA drone strike, this one targeting another U.S. civilian, Anwar’s 16-year-old son. He was killed in the attack.
“…a firestorm erupted when former Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs offered a sociopathic justification for killing the Colorado-born teenager, apparently blaming him for his own killing by saying he should have “had a more responsible father.” Glenn Greenwald
Anwar had never been charged or convicted of a crime in the United States other than picking up hookers back before he became the deep state’s favorite Muslim son. And Anwar’s son didn’t even have a background with hookers. Both were U.S. citizens and both were condemned to death without due process by our beloved progressive president. And then they were killed by him.
When they were murdered died the “progressives” said nothing. There was the re-election campaign to think about.
2. The Raid to Kill bin-Laden that Wasn’t
Osama bin-Laden was not killed on May 2, 2011 like the official record states. They did not bury him at sea without taking a single photo of him. They did not chop him up and toss him out of a helicopter in pieces like Seymour Hersh tried to tell us. None of that happened.
They staged a raid for political purposes a couple miles from a Pakistani intelligence headquarters building (Pak intel is widely known to be completely in bed with U.S., British and Israeli intelligence agencies) and they killed so old dude who lived in squalor and they probably picked him because some Pakistani military official wanted his home because it was so close to the office.
That’s why they killed the “best resource for intelligence on al-Qaeda” during the raid. That’s why they never took a photo of the guy. And that’s why they dumped his body at sea.
The lies about what happened during the raid came fast and furious. They said he went out in a blaze of gunfire. That he took a woman, his wife, and used her as a human shield. They said the “compound” was full of al-Qaeda fighters who put up a hell of a fight.
None of that was true.
The poor slob they killed was unarmed when he was executed by Seal Team 6.
The wife of the man was shot because she wouldn’t shut up.
And the others killed during the raid were his family members who lived there, not “al Qaeda”
Many of the Seal Team 6 members who took part in that dog and pony show of a raid ended up being killed themselves a short time later.
A slew of fake bin Laden death photos were released by various “unnamed official sources”. They were quickly exposed back when the internet was still a thriving and open source for discussion and investigation.
In the end, they had to come up with a story to explain why no photos were taken and they landed on “Special Ops commander demanded they be destroyed” … for national security and such.
In the dead of night a U.S. military team roared into a quite area in Pakistan and conducted a brutal raid on unsuspecting targets killing nearly everyone in the buildings. But it wasn’t without cost.
They wrecked a helicopter when they first landed and had to get a back-up to come pick them up. The wrecked chopper had to be destroyed before they left.
In the end, this is what they ended up with in terms of proof that they killed Osama bin-Laden as he was sitting in his command center planning and plotting “al-Qaeda” terrorists attacks across the globe.
The model they used for this PR photo shoot was clearly NOT bin-Laden though that was the crappy little shit-hole the poor slob who died lived in. The one raided by our best military strike team.
Heck of a command center, ain’t it?
3. And Now For The Donald’s (?) Contribution to the Globalists War OF Terror
The numbers of the dead are hard to get a fix on at this time but this is what we know so far.
According to reports from NBC based on statements made by unnamed “military officials”, President Trump authorized a covert military action to take place in Yemen with “boots on the ground”. On Sunday, Jan. 29th 2017, he authorized the supersecret Joint Special Operations Command to send Seal Team 6 into Southern Yemen to supposedly go after some “computer equipment” being used by “al-Qaeda”
I guess that is a branch of “al-Qaeda” not affiliated with the “al-Qaeda” we are using to destabilize Syria or the ones we used in Libya to overthrow Gaddafi. Or something like that. Confusing, isn’t it?
Right now, the story goes something like this (but we all know it will probably change):
“… Contrary to earlier reporting, the senior military official said, the raid was Trump’s first clandestine strike — not a holdover mission approved by President Barack Obama. The mission involved “boots on the ground” at an al Qaeda camp near al Bayda in south central Yemen, the official said.
“Almost everything went wrong,” the official said.
An MV-22 Osprey experienced a hard landing near the site, injuring several SEALs, one severely. The tilt-rotor aircraft had to be destroyed. A SEAL was killed during the firefight on the ground, as were some noncombatants, including females…
The senior military official said the 8-year-old girl, Nawar al-Awlaki, also known as Nora, was among the noncombatants killed in the raid, which also resulted in the death of several Yemeni women. U.S. officials said some of the women who were killed, however, were combatants and had opened fire on the SEALs as they approached the al Qaeda camp.
The girl’s grandfather, Nasser al-Awlaki, Yemen’s former agriculture minister, told NBC News a different story. He identified his granddaughter as the dead girl from a photo taken at the scene of the raid but based his description on what happened at the camp on conversations with what he characterized as Yemeni sources.
“My granddaughter was staying for a while with her mother, so when the attack came, they were sitting in the house, and a bullet struck her in her neck at 2:30 past midnight. Other children in the same house were killed,” al-Awlaki said. He said the girl died two hours after being shot.
“They [the SEALs] entered another house and killed everybody in it, including all the women. They burned the house. There is an assumption there was a woman [in the house] from Saudi Arabia who was with al Qaeda. All we know is that she was a children’s teacher.”…
The child’s mother, Anwar al-Awlaki’s widow, survived the raid with a minor wound, according to Nasser al-Awlaki. However, Anwar al-Awlaki’s brother-in-law was killed in the raid. The death toll varies according to the sourcing, with the Pentagon saying 14 militants died, along with “numerous” civilians. Nasser al-Awlaki said Yemenis were circulating a body count of combatants and civilians as high as 59.” NBC News
The similarities are striking, are they not?
Seal Team 6: a wrecked military air craft left behind; the extrajudicial murder death of a U.S. citizen named al-Awlaki: the nebulous connection to “al-Qaeda” as justification: the ever shifting facts of the story?
4. So Who Did It and Why?
Reporting on this new story is sparse. Most seems to be tracking back to the original NBC News story published yesterday. The same one I quoted above. CBS did a story on it on the 29th in which they make the claim that Donald Trump personally authorized the mission.
“CBS News correspondent David Martin confirms the raid, carried out by Navy SEAL Team 6, was approved by Mr. Trump.” CBS
A lot of the reporting is over the top with outlets like the Daily Beast publishing headlines like “Donald “Kill Their Families” Trump Played Right Into al-Qaeda’s Hand” as Glenn Greenwald reminded us that Trump “notoriously vowed during the campaign to target not only terrorists but also their families.”
A Tweet from CBS news purports to include a statement from the Trump White House regarding the attack:
As you can see, not a single mention of the civilians and that 8-year-old U.S. citizen killed in the attack other than to suggest they are part of the “evil of radical Islamic terrorism”
The Blaze reports that this is an official statement from the White House and they cite CBS news as their source.
CBS doesn’t say where they got their version.
I’ve tracked it back as far as a U.S. Department of Defense webpage but they don’t link to any official White House release either.
The Daily Mail reports on the statement as if it were fact, yet also fails to link it back to any official White House source.
Frankly, I can’t find anything linking that statement back to the White House prior to that Defense Department posting, which I give about as much credit as I do the story about the military accidentally shelling the Syrian army just as the peace treaty died on arrival.
Sean Spicer was asked about the killing and he said the Trump administration “would never target U.S. citizens” which for me is a far cry from saying they will never kill U.S. citizens or stop targeting civilians of any nationality. But that’s just me and damn lefty inclinations popping up again.
But that was it. That’s all I could find from any official source regarding the White House’s take on this attack.
Glenn Greenwald also buys into the “White House statement” in his article about the raid but he does go a bit further like I did on giving us the background this story deserves. I just wonder if he didn’t go far enough.
“In a hideous symbol of the bipartisan continuity of U.S. barbarism, Nasser al-Awlaki just lost another one of his young grandchildren to U.S. violence. On Sunday, the Navy’s SEAL Team 6, using armed Reaper drones for cover, carried out a commando raid on what it said was a compound harboring officials of al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. A statement issued by President Trump lamented the death of an American service member and several others who were wounded, but made no mention of any civilian deaths…
As noted by my colleague Jeremy Scahill — who extensively interviewed the grandparents in Yemen for his book and film on Obama’s “Dirty Wars” — the girl “was shot in the neck and killed,” bleeding to death over the course of two hours. “Why kill children?” the grandfather asked. “This is the new (U.S.) administration — it’s very sad, a big crime.”…
As my colleague Matthew Cole reported in great detail just weeks ago, Navy SEAL Team 6, for all its public glory, has a long history of “‘revenge ops,’ unjustified killings, mutilations, and other atrocities.” And Trump notoriously vowed during the campaign to target not only terrorists but also their families. All of that demands aggressive, independent inquiries into this operation.” Glenn Greenwald
After Bush continued with the Clinton plan and Obama took on the Bush agenda as well, assuming continuity from one leader of the free world to the next is a completely understandable act for a journalist. Especially when dead children are piling up all around them.
But I am an investigative journalist who also considers context when I report and though I started off this article angry and disgusted with Trump and ready to come to the same conclusions all of my better paid colleagues have, instinct and experience give me pause.
I wrote about Umar Fizzlepants and that ridiculously cobbled together “underwear bomber” psyop years ago. About how it was thrown together to grab all the headlines right after President Peace Prize murdered 23 kids in Yemen. Scahill and Greenwald never seemed capable of making that connection. But it was obvious to me. You have to take the context of the situation into consideration when these deep state events unfold. Nothing happens happens in a vacuum. Not even terrorism.
I also wrote about how on the 8th Day of a proposed peace deal with the Russians and the Syrians, the US Special Operations Command seems to have given an order to the “moderate” terrorists they control to attack a UN aid convoy outside Eastern Aleppo. The purpose of that was to end the peace deal before it matured and the Pentagon would have to hand over all their files on “ISIS” in the region to the Russians. They didn’t want to do that even though the president and Secretary of State signed off on the deal. They didn’t want to do that because “ISIS” are their contractors (soon to be Starbucks employees) and they weren’t finished with them yet.
I don’t know if some military leaders submarined the Syrian peace deal without approval from the pres and Sec. of State but it is possible. Many other writers came to that conclusion, as did I in the end. But it is still possible that various military leaders took matters into their own hands and demoed the deal on their own accord. Which is a troubling thought.
The New York Times was one of the first publications to report Trump gave the order for the attack in Yemen. They cite “military officials”
“The military’s Joint Special Operations Command had been planning the mission for months, according to three senior American officials. Obama administration aides had deliberated extensively over the proposed operation, weighing the value of any information that might be recovered against the risk to the Special Operations forces plunging into hostile territory. But administration officials ultimately opted to hand the decision on the mission to their successors.
Mr. Trump, who has vowed to increase pressure on militant groups worldwide, was quickly persuaded that the rewards were worth the gamble, and he authorized the mission last week, military officials said. Commandos waited for a moonless evening on Saturday to exploit their advantage of fighting at night.” New York Times
Like the military, I have a hard time believing anything that comes from the New York Times as well but you can sometimes find nuggets of truth buried in the story that expose a little less known truth… or at least get you closer to it.
Special Operations Command was in charge of the raid.
And it is Special Operations Command that runs our “irregular warfare” operations with indigenous assets in places like Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Somalia and Sudan aren’t they?
And… who did President Trump piss off on Friday when he basically told all their “moderate” terrorist contractors that they weren’t welcome back here in the land of the Big PX?
That’s right… he pissed off Special Operation Command’s “moderate” terrorist proxy warriors.
And on Saturday night late, they decided to dust off an old Obama plan to attack and kill some more members of the Awlaki family knowing full well Trump would get a lot of heat for it?
And one of them was an eight year old girl who just happened to be a U.S. citizen?
Now, it could be that Trump gave the order to do it and they went in to kill Anwar’s brother-in-law without knowing his daughter would be caught in the cross fire. And it could be the silence from the White House is due to that mess up and the fact that the fake left is protesting everything he does anyway already so he wants to stay as far from the event as possible.
But it could also be yet another incident where we seem to have high ranking military officials making decisions on their own that directly undermine official White House policy or the office of the president himself. We know this issue with keeping the “moderate” terrorists out of the country was a big enough issue for Trump’s acting AG to tell her lawyers not to defend official policy and then get fired for doing it. So, is it possible that the issue is also a big enough of a deal to our Special Operations commanders to give an order to attack a compound knowing full well it would weaken Trump and add fuel to the fire burning under him set by those dedicated to getting him removed from office?
We live in interesting times don’t we? Nothing is really off the table when it comes to these people. They will shoot your 8-year-old daughter and they will eat their own if they have to in service to the greater good.
What exactly happened is hard too say. Either way, it’s pretty damn ugly.

What Big Business wants, Big Business gets in the One Party System of America.
“The Department of Homeland Security is planning to make exceptions to President Donald Trump’s executive order on refugees and certain foreign nationals, including by allowing 872 “refugees” into the U.S. this week.
Legal permanent residents, dual nationals and Iraqis who worked for the U.S. government will be exempt from the ban on travelers from certain countries, officials said. They made the announcement on Tuesday…
Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly announced on Sunday that waivers would be provided on a case-by-case basis to legal permanent residents, or green card holders.
On Tuesday, he and other DHS officials announced additional exceptions to the order. Iraqi nationals will now be eligible for entry using Special Immigrant Visas, which are granted to people who worked for or on behalf of the U.S. government in Iraq, officials said.” Elise Folley
Yep. The Special Immigrant Visas will be honored for those “moderate” terrorists who served our “national interests” in Iraq and elsewhere. So says the head of the Department of Homeland Security.
So on Sunday they rightfully said greencard holders permanent residents, people who had already been vetted, would not be affected by the ban.
But then today, Kelly and other officials from the DHS announced they would EXTEND that waiver to Obama’s “moderate” terrorist contractors who had been promised 40 acres and a mule by the CIA, State Department and Special Operations. They don’t get 40 acres but they will get sub-standard pay for long hours pulling overpriced coffee for trendy hipsters at Starbucks. Kinda ironic when you think about it.
Screw the real refugees. Just so long as Starbucks has enough cheap labor to turn their dropping profit margins around, everything will be just fine.
Since this started I told you that these terrorists were what this was all about… and here we are.
by Scott Creighton
You’re damn right you should #boycottStarbucks
Promised an easy pass into the country, a job waiting for them and a new life, Obama’s “moderate” terrorists are starting to look to retirement, to cash in on those promises.
Trump meanwhile seems to be sending a direct message to them and the new recruits being cultivated in places across the Middle East: there’s no vacancy at the inn.
The fake left and the dishonest neoliberal media that coddles them are all in an uproar as Trump’s executive order is slowly exposing the truth about many of these military aged men and their families looking to gain entry into the country without so much as a peek into their recent past.
As I have stated many times in the last few days, this is what Trump is trying to do, prevent these “moderate” animals from entering the country after they served a couple years launching mortar rounds into farmer’s markets in places like Libya, Syria and Iraq.
Few believed me at first, but more and more establishment and military insiders are speaking out and speaking up, not for families displaced by our “moderate” terrorists, but for the “moderate” terrorists themselves.
The other day Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced they would start hiring 10,000 of these “refugee’ ‘moderate’ terrorists all across the globe and that they would start right here in the Shining City on the Hill.
“Hiring Refugees: We have a long history of hiring young people looking for opportunities and a pathway to a new life around the world. This is why we are doubling down on this commitment by working with our equity market employees as well as joint venture and licensed market partners in a concerted effort to welcome and seek opportunities for those fleeing war, violence, persecution and discrimination. There are more than 65 million citizens of the world recognized as refugees by the United Nations, and we are developing plans to hire 10,000 of them over five years in the 75 countries around the world where Starbucks does business. And we will start this effort here in the U.S. by making the initial focus of our hiring efforts on those individuals who have served with U.S. troops as interpreters and support personnel in the various countries where our military has asked for such support. “
Trump responded quickly to Starbucks’ announcement:
Not quite what I would call a “leftist” agenda, but that’s Okay.
The phone number is a nice touch.
Think about that for a second. The self-absorbed hipsters sipping on Starbucks coffee feeling like they are in touch with the world and on the good side of everything … will be served by cheap labor who launched missiles at civilians, killed and raped for our regime change agenda over in Syria.
There’s a kind of a grotesque symmetry to that isn’t it?
Launched almost immediately, calls to ban Starbucks have hit social media like few other campaigns in recent years. Here’s one I found interesting:
— STOCK MONSTER (@Darren32895836) January 31, 2017
Fascism is better described as corporatism. And in this fascist state, the corporations are infuriated about the possibility of our “moderate” terrorists not getting the jobs they were promised and them not getting cheap labor from all the displaced people made refugees by those same “moderate” terrorists.
Microsoft, Amazon, and Expedia have filed a lawsuit basically claiming the Trump executive order is going to hurt their profit margins because the cheap labor provided by the refugees will be unavailable now.
In 2015 Der Speigal wrote that Germany needed the cheap labor of all those tragically displaced Syrian refugees. Their “less than citizen” status and their desperation makes them perfect for exploitation.
Also in 2015, the Washington Post wrote something similar.
Even apologists have to admit the lure of cheap labor is a major factor for Big Business.
“Another concern that has been voiced frequently about refugees, especially in Europe over the past few months, in response to the influx of refugees there, has been that refugees take jobs from native workers and reduce wages. The evidence from the Syrian experience suggests that this can happen, but that the effects aren’t very large. In many cases, refugees take jobs that natives don’t want.” The New Yorker
Yes it can happen. It does happen. It’s the plan. Its why these companies and more later are suing the federal government… they took away their access to near slaves.
Imagine this world… you have a ‘moderate’ terrorist ‘refugee’ working at Starbucks for starvation wages handing a cup of overpriced, burned coffee to a vapid hipster in a nice warm neo-funky store while sitting outside on the curb begging for money is a man, born and raised in that very town, who cant get into college and cant find a job. Hipster thanks the terrorist, gives him a tip, thinks how cool he is to shop at a place where Syrian Takfaris work, goes outside, steps over the homeless man, grunts “get a job” at him and walks to the bus stop.
Well, you don’t really have to imagine it, do you?
I don’t think even Orwell could have been that damn depressing.

I have to apologize to the people of the world, and Syria/Libya/Iraq in particular, for Keith Olbermann’s extremely insensitive and self-serving apology to the world.
THIS WANNABE MSM WHORE DOES NOT SPEAK FOR US
What a vain, desperate little man you are to try to pretend to speak for any American any more.
Your words serve the interests of the same neocons and war-mongers you once called out and exposed and I guess that is what 7 years in exile will do to the moral center of a self-centered moralist.
What’s wrong Keith? You don’t get as many groupies and back-stage perks covering Major League Baseball?
There was a time when I waited to watch your 10 minute rants at the end of your show back in the Bush/Cheney days when you spoke a little truth ABOUT power and gave voice to a reasoned rational majority who wanted no more wars for profit and lies and hoped we would eventually live too see the day when criminals like Bush and Cheney and all the other neocons who aided and abetted their treason would see the inside of a prison cell, if not the bleak side of a firing squad.
I noticed today, after being almost completely silent during the 8 long years of Obama/Clinton criminality, you are trying, once again, to strike that, very profitable, angry self-righteous tone as you rant on and on about President Trump.
Might I point out that Trump is not Cheney or Bush and at this point and he has not lied and bombed and killed and maimed like President Obama and Sec. Clinton did all those years when you seem to have lost that condescending, self-satisfied voice of yours.
Nor has he hired thousands of “moderate” terrorists to kill civilians and undermine nations like Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Libya, Iran, Iraq and Yemen like President Obama and Hillary Clinton did for eight long years… years you Mr. Olbermann, chose to say nothing.
Painfully and to my disgust, I have watched you Keith, over the last few months, turn yourself into a flaming establishment whore slinging outrageous accusations and condemnations whenever Trump did anything the masters of the universe deemed unfit for presidential behavior.
In fact, it seems you take your talking points memos this time around from the very neocons and war-mongers you used to eviscerate with ease back in the Cheney days.
Permit me to say, it would certainly appear you are trying to cash in on your dusty progressive street cred that you built with your special comments all those years ago and you are doing so in order to promote one lie about President Trump after another and to incite hatred and possibly even violence from Hillary Clinton’s disheveled Clintonistas.
But I have seen NOTHING like what I just saw you deliver on your GQ “Resistance” crap of a webzine channel.
It led me instantly to conclude that you are a slut of a turncoat who is clearly looking to feather your own nest (and get back on a major network?) by producing some of the most offensive and morally dishonest propaganda I have seen come from the mouths of ANY Mockingbird Asset in a long, long time.
I mean, you have to go back to Carl Rove or Bill O’Reilly in the 2002-2003 run-up to the Iraq invasion for anything you could possibly compare it to.
For those of you who don’t know, last night, Keith Olbermann issued an apology to the world for “traitor” Trump who has, according to Olbermann, “turned his back on everything good America has stood for”.
This is how he began his deeply offensive hate-mongering diatribe.
“To the people of Syria and Iraq and France and Germany and Mexico and Canada and the world permit me to apologize on behalf of the citizens of America for the unforgivable actions of the man who has assumed power here. I speak for those of us who, unlike Trump, unlike the sycophants who surround him unlike hate-filled souls and the conscience optional bigots who applaud him, unlike the Russian puppeteers who may be manipulating him, I speak for those of us who have not forgotten and who will not forget that we are the descendants of the immigrants, often the refugees, we are the modern equivalent of those who this pig Trump has just banished and degraded and in many cases has likely, literally sentenced to death.” Keith Olbermann
Keith, you have the gall to apologize for the American people to the world? From what elevated position do you assume the moral authority to speak for us in this manner? That of ESPN MLB announcer or that of a pompous, self-righteous little man trying his level best to reinsert himself into some kind of network line-up for a bigger payday?
And of all things, you apologize for this?
Trump has every right as president to withhold entry of any person or group into this country if said person or group poses a threat to the national interest. THAT’S THE LAW, YOU DIPSHIT. Look it up.
He also has the constitutional authority to do so and if you don’t believe me, ask a legal scholar like Jonathan Turley perhaps. Or you could ask some of your idiot frat-boy colleagues at ESPN but I doubt they know the first thing about law.
Also keep in mind, over the first 24-hours of the travel ban, 305,000 people came into this country and only something like 104 of them were detained for additional questioning and I think all but two of them were released, INTO THE COUNTRY, after a couple hours delay.
What’s more, and this is the biggest one… you dare apologize to the people of Syria… BECAUSE SOMEONE IS DELAYING ENTRY INTO THE UNITED STATES OF A FEW TRAVELERS OR REFUGEES AFTER WE LITERALLY DESTROYED THEIR COUNTRY UNDER PRESIDENT OBAMA’S WATCH, YOU SYCOPHANTIC PIECE OF TRASH?!?
Let me show you a simple visual aid which will make it easy for a sports broadcaster like yourself to try to understand big concepts such as the one I just laid out for you:
THOUSANDS dead… MILLIONS made into refugees, displaced from their homes, their lives, their careers, their children… all due… ALL DUE to President Obama’s regime change operation in Syria and his continued wars of occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan and his “humanitarian intervention” in Libya… you insipid piece of crap.
And you DARE apologize to the world because Obama’s terrorist contractors who took part in that are being vetted at the airports?
“At the Pentagon, Defense Secretary James Mattis is compiling a list of Iraqis who helped U.S. troops during the war, whom he wants to exempt from the ban…
Iraqis who were granted what’s known as special immigrant visas have been caught in the ban, with some detained at U.S. airports over the weekend. The special immigrant visa program allows Iraqis and Afghans who helped the United States as interpreters and in other roles during the wars in their countries to resettle in America.” The Hill
A few liberal journalists remained true to their souls during the dark ages of the Obama administration when we were expected to sit down and shut up because a Democrat was in office.
Rightly, we were offended and protested the invasion of Iraq and subsequently continued our dissent as President Obama planned on Terror Tuesdays his Death Squads from Above campaign that killed thousands of innocent civilians in countries far greater in number that Bush “W” ever dreamed of invading.
For that we take pride in our work and the continuity of our morality in spite of partisan or professional considerations.
You, Mr. Olbermann, can know nothing about that and therefore you have no moral authority to offer any apology for anyone who still has a conscience intact in this country.
And since when does winning an election equate to “assuming power” Mr. Olbermann?
I know the CIA and the trolls at the State Department have long since equated the two in other countries when the people dared “vote the wrong way”.
You should know that sir, as you used to rail about such things before you sold your soul.
Taking up the language of the regime change actors, Mr. Olbermann?
Slipping them into the consciences of the so-called “left” of your audience, are we?
Did you wonder why I made the Mockingbird reference earlier? Now you know.
But you knew then, didn’t you?
I am not one of what you call “the conscience optional bigots who applaud him”. No sir.
Not even you on your best self-satisfied rant could be as antagonistic and skeptical of President Trump’s first week in office (and his months after the election) as I have sir.
That is a fact committed to history and available right here on my website for all to view.
But to call so many people, tired, angry, discouraged people who simply want CHANGE, (the kind Obama promised eight years ago but never delivered) … to call them such horrible, bigoted things as you did sir… it is offensive for me…
…. and I reside to the left of Bernie Sanders.
You sir are playing into the same failed identity politics and fear mongering that lost Hillary Clinton the election to such a man. Such a man who could ONLY have beaten someone so corrupt, so criminal and so disconnected as Hillary Clinton in a general election.
And you think the answer today is more of the same hate-filled disrespectful rhetoric? Have you learned nothing or do you simply have nothing more to offer?
“Conscience optional”? Need I remind you Keith who’s efforts you now serve? Hypocrite.
“Russian puppeteers who MAY be manipulating him”? Really? REALLY!
You now peddle unsupported New McCarthyite Red-baiting slander straight from the Clinton-backing CIA Keith?
God how the mighty have fallen, huh?
Mr. Olbermann, Donald Trump has not sentenced anyone to death. Refugees will be vetted and either returned to their point of origin or permitted to enter the United States if they pose no risk, meaning, if they did not serve as “moderate terrorists” in places like Syria, Libya, Somalia, Iraq or Yemen.
But President Obama sentenced many to death on Terror Tuesday, Mr. Olbermann. Need I remind you:
What lies at the nexus of Obama’s targeted drone killings, his self-serving leaks, and his aggressive prosecution of whistleblowers is a president who believes himself above the law, and seems convinced that he alone has a preternatural ability to determine right from wrong.
— Peter Van Buren a 24-year veteran Foreign Service Officer at the State Department.
“The New York Times‘ recent revelation that President Obama, operating off a government “kill list,” has been personally directing who should be targeted for death by military drones (unmanned aerial assault vehicles) merely pushes us that much closer to that precipitous drop-off to authoritarianism. Should we fail to recognize and rectify the danger in allowing a single individual to declare himself the exception to the rule of law and assume the role of judge, jury, and executioner, we will have no one else to blame when we plunge once and for all into the abyss that is tyranny.” John Whitehead
No apologies or self-aggrandizing rants do you offer for the victims of President Peace Prize’s double-tap drone strikes on funerals or wedding ceremonies Mr. Olbermann. Where are their near-tear performances from you on GQ magazine I wonder.
Donald Trump has killed no one with this order sir and it seems he has only angered Hillary’s old terrorist buddies and their handlers and a couple thousand misled “progressives” who have been looking DESPERATELY to find something, ANYTHING, on which they can hang their “get him out! and install HILLARY” dreams.
Shame on you Keith for playing up to their fears, anger and dread… for your own profit.
Shame on you Keith for taking up the cause of those you once rightly opposed every weekday night for years.
Shame on you Keith for becoming the very thing you pitied in your heyday.
I do not stand with Trump but I am a conscientious enough journalist to report on the good with the bad regardless of my political affiliation or my personal ambition. That, Mr. Olbermann, means I have surpassed you as a journalist. Not what you were, not by a long shot… but what you have sadly and embarrassingly become.
When you offer yourself up to the world as a spokesperson for a people, you invite condemnation if your motives are untrue and your rhetoric unsound.
This is truth of the overly connected the world we live in.
Your pathetic, self-serving, sycophantic PR stunt of an apology is shameful and only serves to further expose the rot that is at the core of the politics and journalism in America today.
It’s sad to see you like this Keith. Like a former champion taking one to many punches, one to many fights, you have embarrassed not only yourself but the game in a way that is impossible to unsee once seen.
But true fans remember them for what they were, don’t they? And as their heroes slump around the bases or throw interception after interception, we all lose a bit of the memories of greatness they once possessed.
Brett Farve, Rodger Clemons, Willie Mays… do the names hold meaning for you Mr. Olbermann? They should. They are your only colleagues now sir.
You do not speak for us Mr. Olbermann and you will not be redeemed in the eyes of the corporate media to once again ascend the heights of their networks to that elevated position you once held.
You are, in short, an embarrassment Keith and though it is true it is better to be a has-been than it is to be a never-was, it is better to be the latter than it is to be an aging desperate whore without a shred of self-respect who will say and do anything for the pimps you used to condemn.
I pity you.
Never presume to speak for anyone again because honestly… you don’t even speak for yourself anymore.

On Morning Joe just now, they spent the first 10 minutes of the show with Jonathan Turley listening to him explain how Acting Attorney General Janet Yates was wrong and out of line yesterday evening when she ordered Justice Department lawyers to refuse to defend Trump’s new travel ban restrictions when they come to court for challenges. Turley explained how he couldn’t understand her decision since the ban is certainly supported constitutionally and the 1952 law expressly gives the president a lot of leeway in determining who can and who cannot come into the country if he perceives our nation interests are threatened. Turley’s position on this is not extraordinary. Most legal scholars agree that Trump’s executive order will hold up in federal court on both constitutional and legal grounds.
Of course, right after he was finished, Joe went off on Trump’s use of the word “betrayed” in his statement about how the administration felt about Yates’ move yesterday and explained that as the reason to fire her and replace her with Dana Boente last night. Scarborough’s position was that the use of the word “betrayed” meant Trump and his “young” advisors were acting as autocrats and they should “take that to Venezuela”
Then he went off for 10 whole minutes about how Trump actually betrayed his new cabinet picks by not informing them of this order prior to Trump signing it and it’s release. He was especially incensed by Trump’s team not informing Sec. Mattis about the order and went on and on about how Trump’s new cabinet picks should basically resign because of this “betrayal”
That, by the way, is EXACTLY what Eliot A. Cohen said in his op-ed type article on Jan. 29th… the same article I mentioned yesterday in an article I wrote about the fake left standing with a neocon PNAC war-mongering war-criminal, Eliot A. Cohen. I guess now we know who else reads and stands with neocon war-mongers, don’t we Joe?
Scarborough went on and on about how Sec. Mattis and all the other military figures in Trump’s cabinet were “heroes” and they deserved better treatment from the administration. Joe’s self-righteous indignation was nearly as profound as Ashton Kutcher’s at the opening of the SAG awards on Sunday.
If it’s true and Trump and his close team didn’t inform Sec. Mattis about this order prior to signing it, would you like to know why? I’ll tell you why:
“At the Pentagon, Defense Secretary James Mattis is compiling a list of Iraqis who helped U.S. troops during the war, whom he wants to exempt from the ban…
Iraqis who were granted what’s known as special immigrant visas have been caught in the ban, with some detained at U.S. airports over the weekend. The special immigrant visa program allows Iraqis and Afghans who helped the United States as interpreters and in other roles during the wars in their countries to resettle in America.” The Hill
Some have suggested on this website that Trump’s order could not be about denying the CIA’s and Special Operations’ terrorists entry into the states because it exempted people with ties to the military. Turns out, that isn’t true at all and in fact, some have already been detained trying to get into the country after completing their tour of service to our deep state.
Not only that but it seems Sec. Mattis immediately started crafting a list to exempt these contractors from Trump’s travel ban just as soon as he found out about it. That indicates to me, if he were kept out of the loop on this order, that was done so for a reason.
Let me explain this for you. Interpreters are important to our efforts over there but they are not something that can’t be replaced. And they don’t necessarily have to be Muslim. For that matter, why would anyone be concerned about them undergoing some enhanced screening? And just how many of them really want to leave the country after serving some time working for Uncle Sam?
On the other hand, “moderate” terrorist contractors would have some difficulty with that screening process wouldn’t they and for the most part, yes, they are all Muslim. And they would certainly want to leave and start over here in the states because 1. it was promised to them as part of the deal and 2. they are terrorists and known to be terrorists in their countries of origin and want to get out as quickly as possible because they really have no future in those countries… especially if things go south for our occupation/regime change operations.
So are these interpreters they want to give a free pass directly into the country or are they something else?
And isn’t that what I have been saying all along?
People should remember, before Sec. Mattis was Defense Secretary, he was Gen. Mattis and one of the things he did in service to our country was help run the Iraqi death squads using indigenous contractors to wipe out growing opposition to our occupation. He was also involved in a number of massacres and other war-crimes.
Gen. Mattis knows how our Special Operations system works in “program countries” and he knows a good part of the incentive we offer desperate, out of work indigenous criminal-types in those countries to get them to do what they do on behalf of the deep state is the promise of a new life here in America.
That’s why so many politicos and pundits are predicting a backlash from groups like “ISIS” or al-Nusra for example. How are they going to react when the new president breaks the deal they had with the old one and they are no longer expecting to receive their “special immigrant visas” which promise them a free pass through the screening process at the airport?
Not only that, but that particular bonus being taken from the tool bin of the recruiters will make their jobs much harder.
Our puppet regime in Iraq is angry as well. They are saying that the U.S. OWES these various regime change contractors special access across our borders because of all the fine work they have been doing killing off the opposition like good little attack dogs. They passed some form of similar ban restrictions yesterday in response to all of this.
Ultimately what we are looking at is further destabilization in Iraq which I am sure Trump will resolve by simply sending in more U.S. troops because, don’t get me wrong, Trump serves the interests of the deep state just like Obama and Bush and Clinton did before him.
My guess though is, Trump is opposed to this type of warfare, not necessarily imperialism itself. He did say we should have “taken the oil” and he did say Obama created “ISIS” by pulling out of Iraq as opposed to staying in. So The Donald isn’t some kind of anti-interventionist in any sense of the word… I just think this kind of … well, let’s call it what it is… terrorism… offends him. And my guess is it scares him as well.
We know for a fact that there have been deep state actors/contractors making hits and creating mass casualty events here in the states and in Canada over the past years. Hell, one took place just two days ago.
It’s out of control and if you don’t think Trump is wise enough to see it for what it is, you can bet your bottom dollar Trump fans that Bannon knows what’s up. Breitbart is a Zionist entity but they also publish a lot of work on all of the recent American Gladio ops and you better believe Bannon knows all about it.
Over the course of his campaign, Trump often made reference to our hiring of “moderate” terrorists overseas and said he wanted that to stop. Specifically with respect to Syria.
Trump’s efforts were deliberately undermined by the former acting Attorney General Sally Yates. By instructing her lawyers to refuse to defend the policy when it came up in court in these emergency hearings what she was doing was hoping Trump would wait a couple days before taking action against her and during that time, the opposition would win some court cases by default since the legal team defending the new order would effectively stand down and offer no defense. She knew damn good and well the constitution and the law was with Trump so the only thing she could do to help the deep state, was order her lawyers to lay down on the job and effectively let them win.
Trump saw through that and immediately fired her and replaced her with someone who would rescind that order of hers.
And in the case of Gen. Mattis, he got that right as well. This list he is cobbling together proves that point. He still has allegiances to the deep state and would probably have intervened in some fashion to make sure the advances he helped secure in Iraq and elsewhere were not lost.
Again, I am no fan of Donald Trump. Did not vote for him or Killary. But he is absolutely right on this one. And he was right not to keep Mattis in the loop because Mattis would probably have done something similar to what Yates did on behalf of the same folks.
Chuck Schumer can fake tears all he wants and Joe Scarborough can get high sniffing his own self-righteous indignation all day long for that matter. The more they screech and misrepresent the executive order and the legal standing it’s based on, the more I am convinced this was never about banning Muslims from entering the country as much as it was about keeping the CIA’s terrorist contractors from moving in next door to you or your kids.
They say once you’re in the CIA you never really leave. Same can be said I guess about their “moderate” terrorist contractors I suppose. And for that reason, I have to reluctantly give Trump credit on this one.
Yeah folks, it’s painfully clear at this time he is deliberately poking a stick in the eye of the Special Operations weapon of choice program and I gotta give him credit for it. He’s sticking to his guns and good for him for doing it.

Being a former actor (from way back when) I stopped channel surfing for minute when I happened to land on the SAG Awards last night. It had just started and Ashton Kutcher was doing some “because I’m an actor” intro monologue from backstage. After that he strolled onstage and said something about airports and our CIA’s destabilization contractors being welcome in “MY AMERICA!!!” with all the self-righteous indignation he could muster.
I changed the channel and still have no idea who won what… and care even less than I did before I happened to land on their show.
That;s what ignorant actors injecting themselves into political discourse does for me. I don’t know about your feelings on the subject.
Turns out, I have already expressed a number of times, I don’t like Trump much. He’s as much of a neocon fascist as the rest of them. You can certainly review my work on the subject going back a year and a half if you need confirmation on the subject.
But as I have also pointed out here and here, the fake left and the complicit media are presenting this executive order of the president’s as something that it is not. And they are doing so in a highly inflammatory way without giving any consideration to the consequences. Mr. Kutcher’s effort last night is a prime example but it is not the only one.
Yesterday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the fake progressive leader of the New New Dems (who backed warmonger Killary and voted for idiot Ben Carson the other day), went before a crowd at an airport and did that little “megaphoning” trick the infiltrators used in the Occupy movement way back when to get out her own self-righteous indignation message to the gathered gullible masses who were protesting.
She lied to them and told them Trump was banning Muslims and what he was doing was “illegal”. It’s not illegal. The president has a lot of control over the borders and can prohibit anyone from entering the country if it preserves our “national interests” and if you don’t believe me, just watch Jonathan Turley’s CNN appearance.
Unfortunately, one cannot easily explain away Warren’s mistake when it comes to getting it wrong on this one by saying she ignorant like the Hollywood self-important actor-class is. She’s just a lying opportunist.
Like I said, the order seems to me to be an an attempt to dissuade Obama’s “moderate” terrorist contractors from attempting to enter the country even after they were promised a new life in the Shining City on the Hill after they completed a tour of duty terrorizing people of various nations like (Iraq, Syria, Libya, Sudan, Somalia…) and I base that on their reactions to the order from the likes of John McCain who never met a terrorist contractor he didn’t like as well as on actually reading the bill itself (which I published)
Again, adding a little more to my original conclusion, I found an essay published by The Atlantic yesterday and written by Eliot A. Cohen.
For those of you who don’t know, Cohen is a founding member of the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) and helped write “Rebuilding America’s Defenses”. He is a war-monger in the classic sense and when given an opportunity in the Bush administration, he became a war-criminal.
Cohen was one of the first neoconservatives to publicly advocate war against Iran and Iraq. In a November 2001 op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Cohen identified what he called World War IV and advocated the overthrow of Iran’s government as a possible next step for the Bush Administration. Cohen claimed “regime change” in Iran could be accomplished with a focus on “pro-Western and anticlerical forces” in the Middle East and suggested that such an action would be “wise, moral and unpopular (among some of our allies)”. He went on to argue that such a policy was as important as the then identified goal of Osama Bin Laden‘s capture: “The overthrow of the first theocratic revolutionary Muslim state and its replacement by a moderate or secular government, however, would be no less important a victory in this war than the annihilation of bin Laden.”
“We know that he [Saddam Hussein] supports terror. There’s very solid evidence that the Iraqis were behind an attempt to assassinate President Bush’s father. And we—by the way, we do know that there is a connection with the 9/11 terrorists. We do know that Mohamed Atta, the ringleader of the 9/11 terrorists, met with Iraqi intelligence in Prague. So.”
Here’s how PNAC co-founder Cohen feels about the “Muslim ban” of Trump’s that isn’t really a Muslim ban:
“I am not surprised by President Donald Trump’s antics this week. Not by the big splashy pronouncements such as announcing a wall that he would force Mexico to pay for, even as the Mexican foreign minister held talks with American officials in Washington. Not by the quiet, but no less dangerous bureaucratic orders, such as kicking the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff out of meetings of the Principals’ Committee…
In an epic week beginning with a dark and divisive inaugural speech, extraordinary attacks on a free press, a visit to the CIA that dishonored a monument to anonymous heroes who paid the ultimate price, and now an attempt to ban selected groups of Muslims (including interpreters who served with our forces in Iraq and those with green cards, though not those from countries with Trump hotels, or from really indispensable states like Saudi Arabia), he has lived down to expectations.”
Precisely because the problem is one of temperament and character, it will not get better. It will get worse, as power intoxicates Trump and those around him. It will probably end in calamity—substantial domestic protest and violence, a breakdown of international economic relationships, the collapse of major alliances, or perhaps one or more new wars (even with China) on top of the ones we already have. It will not be surprising in the slightest if his term ends not in four or in eight years, but sooner, with impeachment or removal under the 25th Amendment. The sooner Americans get used to these likelihoods, the better.” Eliot A. Cohen, war-monger
I’m sorry, but when a war-monger who lied about Iraq’s involvement with 9/11 and argued regime changing Iran through violence as more important than finding bin Laden starts talking about someone’s “temperament” and the chance they might start another war… I have to laugh because the hypocrisy is overwhelming.
Cohen hits all the talking points including that all important one about Trump’s ban effecting those Muslims “moderate” terrorists who helped us in our fight to regime change various countries. Of course, he can’t them by profession, but do you really think he gives a crap about translators?
The apex of Mr. Cohen’s hypocrisy was stated as follows:
“To be associated with these people (Trump administration) is going to be, for all but the strongest characters, an exercise in moral self-destruction.” Eliot A. Cohen, war-monger
Morals? Talk of moral self-destruction coming from an a-moral neoliberal neocon like Cohen who lied through his teeth every day for years in order to get the public behind bombing a million Iraqis to death is talking about “moral self-destruction”?
Are we not supposed to be able to remember what this man really is and what he did? He should be in prison but instead…
Instead, he’s standing alongside celebrity leftists like Kutcher and fake-left politicians like Elizabeth Warren in their call to remove President Trump from office for “humanitarian” reasons and stuff like that.
Ultimately, Cohen’s screed about Trump yesterday almost reads as if he is trying to incite violence from someone against him. Repeatedly he makes less than nuanced suggestions about violence toward him and violence he predicts that will erupt in the streets (violence like that our “moderate” terrorists brought to places like Libya, Syria and Ukraine recently?)
” It (Trump presidency) will probably end in calamity—substantial domestic protest and violence, a breakdown of international economic relationships, the collapse of major alliances, or perhaps one or more new wars (even with China) on top of the ones we already have. It will not be surprising in the slightest if his term ends not in four or in eight years, but sooner, with impeachment or removal under the 25th Amendment. The sooner Americans get used to these likelihoods, the better.” Eliot A. Cohen, war-monger
For those self-aggrandizing celebrities on the left and all you phony liberals in congress, I want you to understand what it is you are doing and who you are standing with at this critical time.
When you find yourself on the same side as folks like John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Eliot A. Cohen, you might want to take a step back and do a little more research into your cause. You might just find it isn’t what you thought it was.
Of course, they all “stood with” the neocon war-crimals already when they backed Hillary Clinton over Trump this past year. So maybe the left is just going that way these days. Wrapping themselves in the feel-good blanket of “humanitarianism” while dropping more bombs on Libya and Syria standing hand in hand with PNAC and if that is the way of the left these days, if it’s not some horribly misguided mistake, then, by all means, war-monger it up with your new buddies lefties.
But you count me out. I’m changing the channel. I still have soul that’s not running high on my own self-satisfaction right now.
A group of European journalists and aviation experts has sent an open letter to Donald Trump asking him to back a new UN-run investigation into the 2014 crash of Flight MH17. The current Dutch-led inquiry is “neither independent nor convincing,” they said.
The open letter, signed by 25 journalists, former civil aviation pilots and researchers from Germany, the Netherlands and Australia, was posted on the website of Joost Niemoller – a Dutch journalist who publicly challenged the current investigation into the ill-fated Flight MH17, which was downed over Ukraine in July 2014…
