Former Congressperson Cynthia McKinney could tell us something about political persecution. She was run out of office for asking all the wrong questions, and for failing to toe the correct lines. But she keeps asking the wrong questions and stepping on those lines all the same.

There's a frivolous new post at my main blog. Among other things, it says:

I can't help thinking that poker players are supposed to be the lowest of the low: hustlers and thieves playing a game based on deception which has been mostly illegal in most of the country for most of my lifetime. Yet here they are, on national television, comporting themselves with more dignity than most of our so-called "public servants."
