Guilty by association: wutz up w 911blogger?

A friend of mine was part of a group who recently were banned en masse from posting at, or even in some cases, visiting, the website and forums of one of the better known "truth" sites, 911.blogger

Their offense? Being members of another truth site, that I enjoy visiting myself, the WTC Demolition Blog or www.wtcdemolition.com/blog

After studying this matter, it seems to be related to certain members (including the management) of wtcdemo's opposition to the postings of one or two particular members of the 911blogger forum and his /their insistence on holding to a certain tack of 9/11 truth that agrees with many of the precepts of the OCT. A few of these certain 911blogger-blogger's core arguments:

A) there certainly were Arab hijackers
B) nobody has any evidence there were pre-planted explosives in the WTC
C) Neither Larry Silverstein, nor any Israeli group(Drunk need be considered suspects

It seems that the wtcdemo crew found this tack unsavory and were vocal in their disagreement with these opinions.

It's interesting that one of the last comments posted by any of the 'wtcdemo' crew was in response to a challenge by one of said members to name someone involved with planting the explosives:

"And I'm glad you asked. The arrow of suspicion clearly points at Larry Silverstein, Jerome Hauer and the men of Urban Moving Systems."

Is the timing of this post and the subsequent mass bannings more than coincidence?

Not Necessarily the News: Russia to 'neutralise' US missile defence

For some reason the 'ahem' mainstream sites aren't talking about this much,
Russia's military is ready to "neutralise" any threat to its nuclear deterrent from US missile defence sites in Europe, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Kislyak said Monday, according to Interfax news agency.

"If we see the development of systems that could reduce our deterrent potential, our military will have to take steps to neutralise the threat," Kislyak was quoted as saying at a briefing in Moscow.

He did not specify the steps that would be taken, saying "this will be decided by military specialists."

"We would prefer not to have to do this," he added.

Kislyak said US proposals to ease Russian concerns about the missile shield, which Washington claims is aimed at countering possible threats from states such as Iran, remained in doubt.

Raw Story Article

My take on missile defense was always that it could be relatively easily defeated by launching a wave or two of decoys, then launch your real missiles amidst another batch of decoys.

Here's the problem with missile defense (assuming it even works as intended) - it costs far, far more for this defense than it does for the offense. The United States spends more than the rest of the world combined on "defense" yet Americans are still less safe now than they've been in the past. Wouldn't it be a lot less expensive to just be nice to people?

SILVER, GOLD AND THE IRS

I stumbled across this interesting article today;
Today in America, we are being systematically robbed of our property because we have allowed the Federal Reserve to flood our banks with fiat, worthless paper money.

Robert Kahre owns a family business and instead of using paper money he paid his workers with gold and silver coins minted by the United States government. He paid them based on the “face value” of the coins. If he paid a worker a dollar an hour he paid with a silver dollar, which states on the coin that it is “one dollar” regardless of today’s value. His wages were so low that he didn’t have to file W-2 income tax forms or withhold taxes or pay workman’s comp. This upset the IRS, which charged him and his family with 161 federal tax crimes.

Let's just say I'm thinking to offer my boss to take a 90% cut in pay but start getting paid in silver, since I believe the dollar's devaluation will continue to accelerate. Imagine what might happen when everyone starts demanding payment in currency backed by gold & silver.
