Sinema made the comments to a group of Republican lobbyists, explaining why she stopped attending her caucus' weekly luncheons. Sinema called them "ridiculous" and she had better uses of her time than “those dumb lunches.

'“Old dudes are eating Jell-O, everyone is talking about how great they are,” Sinema recounted to gales of laughter. “I don’t really need to be there for that. That’s an hour and a half twice a week that I can get back.”'

However, If she thinks making a spectacle of herself will win over Republicans and get them to open their checkbooks for her she's sadly mistaken. If there is any viable Republican option that's where their money will go, not to Kyrsten Sinema. All she's doing is proving that she's not loyal to party and can't be trusted.

First off, she explained, she was no longer a Democrat. “I’m not caucusing with the Democrats, I’m formally aligned with the Democrats for committee purposes,” Sinema said. “But apart from that I am not a part of the caucus.”

"I was on a traveling maintenance crew, and we'd go from power plant to power plant," Wood, who's also a former Utility Workers Union of America organizer, recalled. "Every four years, every power plant was completely overhauled."

Now Rhonda Santis is referring to Putin as a “war criminal” after Republican pols piled on him after he referred to the Ukraine war of self-preservation as a “territorial dispute.” Via the Washington Post:

In an interview with “Piers Morgan Uncensored,” which is due to air Thursday on Fox Nation, the potential presidential contender clarified that he fully opposed Putin’s invasion, aligning himself more closely with other Republicans — and distancing himself from previous comments which he said had been “mischaracterized.”

“Obviously, Russia invaded (last year) — that was wrong,” DeSantis said, according to a preview of the interview in a column published Wednesday in the New York Post. “Russia did not have the right to go into Crimea or to go in February of 2022 and that should be clear.”

[...] Last week, DeSantis was fiercely criticized by members of his own party for describing the war as “a territorial dispute between Ukraine and Russia,” in which it was not in Washington’s interest to become further entangled. DeSantis’s comments echoed the position of former president Donald Trump, who has said that opposing Russia is a key interest for Europe, “but not for the United States.”

House Oversight Chair James Comer pretended on Fox News he has a right to investigate and browbeat NYC DA Alvin Bragg in a Congressional hearing.

Yes, Bragg is likely, though not certain, to bring charges against Trump over his corrupt and fraudulent hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels, which he tried to disguise as a legal payment from his business, The New York Times reported. “In New York, falsifying business records can be a crime, and Mr. Bragg’s office is likely to build the case around that charge, according to people with knowledge of the matter,” The Times said.

In other words, there is no indication that Bragg will be trying to charge Trump with violating any federal crimes. But Comer teamed up with Fox News and host Laura Ingraham to smear Bragg and concoct an excuse to stick his own MAGA nose where it has no business.

A Fox producer did his or her part with an anti-Semitic banner that smeared Bragg as a “SOROS-BACKED D.A.” As if that has anything to do with whether Donald “P***y Grabber” Trump broke the law by fraudulently trying to hide from the public that he cheated on his wife with a porn star.

Then Comer, in a moment of unintended irony, accused Bragg of engaging in “a political stunt” to get “all types of earned media.”

Trump defense attorney Evan Corcoran is scheduled to testify Friday before the grand jury investigating classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago after a new order from a federal appeals court, according to CNN:

The US DC Circuit Court of Appeals said that Corcoran must provide additional testimony and turn over documents about the former president as part of the criminal investigation into possible mishandling of classified documents.

The source said Trump’s side is unlikely to appeal to the Supreme Court.

The announcement from a panel of three judges in the appeals court – less than a day after Trump sought to put Corcoran’s testimony on hold – adds momentum to the special counsel investigation as it seeks to secure evidence that could make or break a federal criminal case against Trump.

Everyone has heard of service dogs, who can help people with the most amazing things. They can be their eyes, their hands and their early warning medical alert systems. I have also heard of other service animals, such as horses and even pot-bellied pigs. But I can't say that I heard of a therapy chicken until Penelope.

One day in Tennessee, David the weatherman saw Penelope during a remote broadcast during a snowstorm. So Dave rescued Penelope, saving her life. In turn, Penelope helped David, who had just suffered a mini-stroke and was struggling with Depression. Now they are the best of friends. And Penelope is the best dang weather hen in the world!

MAGA creep Charlie Kirk begged Ron DeSantis to make Florida a sanctuary state for Trump so that if he gets indicted, he can hide from the law.

"Can Red States do anything?" Kirks asked. "Can Ron DeSantis do anything?"

What a dweeb.

"Some people would say, well Charlie, no, no, you have to abide by these interstate arrest warrants. You have to. You cannot break those kind of contractual obligations. You can't just wall off cities. You just can't have your own laws. You just can't have your own jurisdictions," he parroted. "Like, what? Are you sure? That might sound right."

Immigration law is not equal to the criminal code.

"But then how do you explain sanctuary cities? How do you explain sanctuary states?" Kirk asked.

"For the last decade, we've had blue states that have said, we have our own immigration law. Federal law doesn't apply," he complained. "Doesn't matter if these people are rapists or murderers or arsonists or child sex traffickers."

Well, Trump is an admitted sexual assaulter, and an adulterer?

"Why doesn't Ron DeSantis create a sanctuary state for a former president under political persecution?" Kirk asked "If the left is able to create sanctuary states for rapists and murderers, thugs and criminals, I don't think it's too big of an ask for Ron DeSantis to create a sanctuary state for a former president who's being persecuted by a Soros-funded DA in a separate state."

MAGA hates DeSantis, but it's up to him to save Trump.

For years we've heard "lock her up" chants ring out from the MAGA crowd, calling for the imprisonment of former President Donald Trump's political opponent. Trump called Hillary Clinton "crooked" for years. Unsurprisingly, we're finding out that it's the one-term President who is as crooked as a dog's hind leg.

And Trump is about to be indicted while Hillary sits back somewhere sipping a glass of Chardonnay. She is not locked up, but he might be.

Fox News host Jesse Watters is tossing aside that the right wanted Hillary locked up without cause. She's never been indicted. However, she testified for 11 hours straight without breaking a sweat. That's something Donald could never do. Watters wants us to forget that they called for her imprisonment for years at every single Trump rally.

On Tuesday, the Fox News host insisted that the years of chanting "lock her up" was simply a "joke" because Clinton was never arrested. "The 'lock her up' was a joke," he said, adding that Trump never indicted "Crooked."

"But they're going after him hard," he added.

You see, guys, it was just a jokey joke. A joke that spanned for years. Haha, those jokey jokesters.

In 2020, Trump delivered remarks intended to focus on protecting seniors during an event in Florida, but it shifted into a political rally. At one point, Trump attacked his 2016 rival.

What looks like a common sense bill to the rest of us, one that would have put dispensers in schools was rejected by the Republican-controlled legislature, though it was sponsored by Republicans Lori McCann and Rod Furniss. (Apparently, they're both RINO's now.) Idaho's House of Representatives barely has any Democrats in it, and is split 59R-11D. The bill died, on a 35-35 tie vote.

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho House Republicans Monday rejected a bill that would have funded free menstrual products in public school girls bathrooms. GOP House members said the proposal was “liberal,” and they objected to “woke” terms describing inaccessibility to tampons and pads.

House Bill 313, sponsored by Reps. Lori McCann, R-Lewiston, and Rod Furniss, R-Rigby, would have funded no-cost menstrual product dispensers in public school girls bathrooms for sixth through 12th grade students.

The estimated price tag was $435,000 in one-time state general funds to install dispensers and $300,400 annually to stock them, according to the legislation’s fiscal note. That’s about $3.50 per student. State budget analysts predict Idaho will have a $1.4 billion tax revenue surplus at the end of the fiscal year.
